Skincare is important all year round, however throughout Winter and Summer I always find it extra important. During Summer we may cover ourselves in false tan, frazzle under the sunshine, our skin may be oilier due to the heat or sun lotions etc and so I always recommend taking extra time with your skin care at this time of year. Balance Me is a renowned skincare brand and today I'm sharing a couple of my favourites with you which are going to be perfect for Summer.
Starting with keeping the skin clean and fresh, I recommend the Balance Me Flash Cleanse Micellar Water (£16), a gentle cleansing micellar water which has been formulated with a cutting edge natural peptide complex. I love how easy it is to use, all you do is press your cotton pad down onto the the plastic pad and wipe over the face to quickly remove makeup and dirt without having to rinse.
It is suitable for most skin types, and I have quite sensitive skin, yet I find that the chamomile within the formula soothes my skin and as soon as you place it onto the skin, it instantly refreshes the face, which is great for when the weather is hot. The Balance Me Flash Cleanse Micellar Water is made from 99% natural ingredients and helps to boost the skins hydration and radiance, along with being so quick and easy to include into your skin routine, this is definitely a winner for me.
I don't know about you, but I can't bare to have a full face of makeup on when it's super hot outside, I feel like it's just going to melt off, which is definitely not attractive! Therefore I much prefer to take a BB Cream, like the Balance Me BB Natural Perfection (£26), a hydrating natural BB cream that provides lightweight coverage along with having an SPF25, to help protect the skin from harmful rays.
You get a good 40ml sized tube, so plenty of product, and this has been created using 97% natural ingredients. The Balance Me BB Natural Perfection gives a hint of colour and light coverage to help promote a glowy, healthy, and even complexion, great for summer days and evenings. As it is a skincare product also, it provides hydration to the skin and acts as a primer if you are wanting to wear it with a heavier foundation. It does only come in one shade, but I find this quite universal, as it blends beautifully into the skin, and of course it's pretty amazing that you're also getting SPF25 in there, but if you are sitting in the sunshine, I would recommend using additional sun protection.
