Pixi Sheer Cheek Gels & GelTint & SilkGloss + Swatches

Sunday 16 July 2017

Pixi Beauty are one of my favourite brands, not just because of the quality of their products, but because they constantly bring out revolutionary new releases, keeping the beauty market fresh. I was very kindly sent two sets of fairly new releases - the Pixi Sheer Cheek Gels, and the Pixi GelTint & SilkGloss, to promote sheer, natural beauty.
The Pixi Sheer Cheek Gels (£14) have been created into a sheer, translucent gel to create a super natural flush of colour, and are available in three different shades...
Flushed - a berry red
Rosy - a pinky red
Natural - a natural, nude pink
The gel formula is super easy to work with, and you just gently tap it into the apples of the cheeks to give a very natural sheer colour, although these can also be used on the lips too - gotta love a multi use product! If you have oily skin, fear not as these are oil free and so they will work perfectly on all skin types. I think Rosy or Natural are definitely my favourite shades for this time of year, but I imagine Flushed will be stunning towards Autumn and Winter.
I cannot stop wearing the newly released Pixi GelTint & SilkGloss (£14), as they come in such fun shades. This double ended lip product contains a long lasting lip tint to give a stained effect on one end, and a jojoba infused lip gloss to keep the lips hydrated and nourished on the opposite end.
These can be used on their own, or layered, and I really enjoy mixing and matching! Shade wise, we have...
BerryTint & SweetGloss - a natural, mauve tint & a pink nude gloss
PinkTint & PrettyGloss - a gorgeous fuchsia pink tint & a shimmering soft pink gloss
BeachTint & FreshGloss - a warming brown tint & a stunning orange gloss
I love how there are shades for all tastes and occasions, and I definitely can't choose a favourite! The applicators are made from sponge and glide onto the lips really easily to give great coverage. I found that they didn't dry out my lips, and that the tints tended to last longer on the lips due to the pigment.
Do you prefer a tint, a gloss or both?

You can find these fab new Pixi releases online here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn x
