So many brands have been making the most of the current mermaid trend, especially holographic lip products, and when I saw Barry M’s gorgeous offerings I simply had to try them out. The Barry M Holographic Lip Toppers are available in four colour ways each very different to the next, making sure there is something for all tastes within this quad collection.
Barry M Holographic Lip Toppers have been created to reinvent the lips, bursting with rainbows of light-reflecting particles, covering the lips with gloss stardust. Unfortunately the camera doesn’t always pick up holographic products, but believe me when I say these have allllllll the glitter and shimmer a girl needs.
Formula-wise, I find them to be non-sticky and super smooth to apply straight onto the lips or over your favourite lip colour to create a totally unique shade. Even though these Lip Toppers contain glitter and shimmer, I like that you can’t feel the glitter on the lips, and I had no irritation whatsoever. With regards to colours, Barry M have created shade 1: Spellbound, a clear-ish colour full of light pink and pale purple iridescent glitter, 2: Wizard, a light blue colour, again full of light pink and pale purple iridescent shimmer, 3: Mermaid, a vivid pink shade which includes blue, pink and green iridescent sparkle, and 4: Hex, a mid-purple colour which contains lots of green iridescent shimmer.
Whether worn alone, or as a Lip Topper, you can go as tame or as wild as your heart desires, and with festival season on its way, you can be the sparkliest princess there is!
