About five years ago, one of my colleagues at the time walked past and I fell in love with her fragrance, so of course I asked her what it was and she produced out of her bag a bottle of Clarins Eau Dynamisante which at the time I had never ever come across, even though it had apparently been out quite a long time already.
When it comes to fragrances, my absolute favourites types of scents are more masculine, spices, woods, ambers, musks and Eau Dynamisante was right up my street! Clarins have combines aromatherapy (fragrance) and phytotherapy (the treatment power of plants) to create this delicious fragrance.
Eau Dynamisante contains a blend of aromatic essential oils including citrus, patchouli, rosemary and white thyme for a scent that refreshes and revitalises the senses, while ginseng and aloe vera provide energising and hydrating benefits to the skin. Yes, you read that correctly, this is a treatment fragrance, that takes care of the skin as well as leaving it smelling incredible.
Even though it is quite a herby scent, it is also incredibly refreshing and five years later I still class it as one of my favourite fragrances. This is the Limited Edition illustrated bottle, which costs no more than the original, but with its pretty white markings, it looks extra lovely on your dressing table.
Talking about cost, it is also such amazing value. When you think of a high-end, luxury brand like Clarins, you might expect to pay £60+ for a 30ml bottle, however Eau Dynamisante costs just £36 for 100ml! So this is going to last you a while, and even though it is a Treatment Fragrance, the power and longevity of the fragrance is just as good, if not better, than many high-end eau de parfums.
