Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Body Firming Bodycare

Well-respected and well-loved face and body skincare brand Palmer’s always seem to be upping their game, and their latest Firming releases are no different. Face sheet masks are huge, and Palmer’s have now brought out a Body Firming Sheet Mask! Very exciting! There are two produce in the Body Firming range so far, including the Anti-Oxidant Firming Lotion and then the Body Sheet Mask. Read on to find out what I thought of them…

The Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Anti-Oxidant Firming Lotion (£7.99 for 250ml) helps to firm and tone the skin a natural and effective way. It has been created using a combination of marine seaweed extract and caffeine to stimulate circulation and ease fluid retention. I suffer from Endometriosis which has also affected my bladder and bowel and I unfortunately get fluid retention far too often, but since I have been using this Firming Lotion, I have found it definitely helps to relieve that horrible bloating feeling. The Lotion also contains Coconut Oil and Sweet Almond Oil to boost skin’s elasticity and moisture and the unique blend of these four natural ingredients gradually results in a more toned and firmer skin appearance in as little as two weeks. It smells absolutely incredible, with the Coconut Oil and Sweet Almond Oil pleasing the senses, and kind of reminds me of being on holiday! Texture-wise, the Firming Lotion is a little gel-like and is easy to apply, melting into the skin almost instantaneously, with no sticky residue afterwards so there is no hanging around waiting to get dressed. Due to that gel-like texture, this will be especially cooling and soothing during warmer weather and really nourishes the skin, keeping it well moisturised and toned.

I was honestly so excited to try the Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula Body Firming Sheet Mask (£8 for two masks), as I haven’t tried anything like this before. The Sheet Masks deliver targeted toning ingredients to problem areas such as thighs, hips, stomach, upper arms and buttocks in a sheet sized to fit the contours and curves of the body. The Firming Sheet Masks have been formulated using Guarana Extract, Capuacu and Sustainable Fair Trade Coconut Oil and helps to improve microcirculation, resulting in a firmer, toned and smoother appearance. Through the sheet mask system, it allows for optimal penetration of the ingredients and any excess product can then be massaged into the targeted area for further hydration and firming. The sheets are in a rectangle shape, hence why they can be adapted to different parts of the body, and you simply apply them, and then relax for around ten minutes, or more if you have the time. I found that the sheet masks did give a slight tingling sensation, but it wasn’t unpleasant in the slightest and was more of a cooling feeling, again refreshing for during the warmer months. To double up the toning and firming power, I would recommend using these sheet masks and then applying the Firming Lotion afterwards. The perfect way to get Summer-Body ready!
