Soap & Glory Spectaculips Matte-allic Lip Creams

Wednesday 2 May 2018

The metallic lip trend is really big at the moment, with lots of brands releasing their own versions. As a Soap & Glory lover, I recently spied their Spectaculips Matte-allic Lip Creams in Boots and the colours were so gorgeous and wearable I just had to try them out.
The Soap & Glory Spectaculips Matte-allic Lip Creams are super-light, ultra-hydrating creams with a velvety-soft liquid-to-matte formulation which is also smudge-proof and lasts up to 12 hours - Soap & Glory sure don’t do things by halves! These matte shades give a deep sweep of colour to give a luxurious glam finish.

There are three shades available, including Bronze Girl, a warm, almost auburn shade of bronze, Gold Dusk, a very light gold with a hint of peach, and Pink Charming, a pretty light pink with a hint of gold shimmer. The Lip Creams come in sweet little tubes with a sponge, doe-foot applicator making precise application a doddle.
When applied onto the lips, these Lip Creams feel luxurious, silky and creamy and feel beautiful on the lips - no stickiness or gloopiness here! Due to them not being sticky, you could even get away with blending them onto your eyelids as they really do blend out stunningly to create the prettiest shimmer without being glittery, making them so wearable.

Each Soap & Glory Spectaculips Matte-allic Lip Cream costs £8, however there is nearly always a 3 for 2 offer at Boots, so they work out super reasonable, especially compared to other higher-end brands, yet the quality of these Creams seems much more higher end than high street. I think my favourite shade has to be Pink Charming, with its dusky pink hues suiting my fair skin.

Top to Bottom: Bronze Girl, Gold Dusk, Pink Charming
You can find the Soap & Glory Spectaculips Matte-allic Lip Creams instore and online at Boots.

All the Loves,
