St Moriz Tan Boosting Facial Serum & Tan Remover

The false tanning world never ceases to surprise, with constant new releases - long gone are the days where you would have to spend ages rubbing in a false tan cream, wait a day for it to develop and then it end up patchy. There are countless products, from countless brands to give you the most natural, yet gorgeous golden brown shade, which let’s face it, in this country we definitely need due to the constant lack of sunshine! Today I am focusing on false tan skincare products, namely the St Moriz Tan Boosting Facial Serum and the St Moriz Tan Remover.
I am often a little wary when trying out tanning products for the face as you never know how they’re going to work out, and it’s not like you can stick a balaclava over your head if it doesn’t work out so well. However, I am always willing to give new beauty products a whirl! This sweet little glass bottle has been created to give a made-to-measure glow and is to be mixed in with your regular facial moisturiser rather than be applied straight to the face. The consistency of the Serum is a delicate oil, but doesn’t leave a greasy residue on the skin which some oils and serums tend to do. I would recommend using some kind of lid-type surface to blend the serum and your moisturiser as otherwise you can end up with a streak of tan on your hands if not blended correctly. But at least you know that it actually works!
I lost my Mum when I was 17 and I always remember her adding St Tropez cream to her normal moisturiser and it often resulted in a waste of product, but I like how you can add the right amount of drops of the serum to suit the amount of moisturiser you would normally use. It doesn’t change the consistency of your moisturiser and it works its way into the skin really easily. I use this on an evening rather than a morning, and after the first application I didn’t really see a difference, but as this is more of a skincare product, it has to work its way into the skin, so after a couple more uses you will definitely start to see your skin become more glowy and slightly bronzed - which I loved as I didn’t look like a TOWIE extra, but it definitely made my normally-pale skin look a lot healthier.

Moving on to the St Moriz Advanced Pro Formula Self Tan Remover, and we have all been there! Made our palms look like the colour of an Oompa Loompa, had huge streaks down the backs of our legs, and orange toes with white patches inbetween each one. Whether it is something like this, or you have used a stubborn tan that you want to remove before you apply a new one, then this Tan Remover is going to be your new best friend! The Self Tan Remover gently and effectively removes stubborn false tan without the need for abrasive scrubbing, again, did you ever not used to feel like you’d used a cheese grater after vigorously rubbing at your tan?!
The moisture-rich formula leaves your skin feeling soft and free of all tan remnants and contains a breakthrough patented fragrance technology, ensuring false tan be can applied straight after you have used and washed off this remover. It has a really delicious, fresh and almost cotton-scented fragrance to it, which I wasn’t expecting at all, but definitely enjoyed! I found it really easy to use too, simply pump some of the mousse into the palm of your hand, apply onto dry skin, leave on for at least five minutes to soak into the skin and work its magic and then use a wet cloth to gently wipe and rinse your tan away in a warm shower - you can’t get quicker or easier than that!

The St Moriz Tan Boosting Facial Serum costs £9.99 and then Tan Remover costs £9.99 and both are available instore and online at Superdrug.

All the Loves,
