It is hard to keep up with Revolution’s releases, they certainly come thick and fast, and a recent release from one of their most recent sub-brands, Revolution Pro is the Revolution Pro Supreme Highlighter Palette, which is available in three colour options.
For all of those, much like myself, who love a bit of shimmer, then these babies are for you! They have been created using a brand new formula of intense pressed pigment to give an incredible glow suitable for all skin tones. Each palette presents a trio of soft and buttery shimmer waves, and each shade can be used individually or with the others to give different looks.
The three colour ways include;
Gold: Three gilded shimmers in striking champagne, gold glitter and rose gold.
Ice: Three white shimmers in a stunning blue, champagne and pink shift.
Metal: Three metallic shimmers in a cool bronze, champagne and copper shift.
Pigment-wise, these palettes are amazing, and at just £6 per palette, you absolutely cannot go wrong with the price! A couple of the shades from the Metal Palette are a little too dark for my fair skin to be used as highlighters, but because of that incredible pigment, they make the most unbelievable eyeshadows. I can’t fault any of the palettes, but because I do have fair skin, I find that the Ice palette works really well for me, as it is a little fairer and I do have a pink undertone to my skin, so the iridescent looks really pretty.
Due to being able to use them as highlighters or shadows, they also make the perfect holiday accompaniment as they are a great multi-use product. I would recommend only using a light sweep of a brush with these highlighters as they are so pigmented that you don’t need to apply too much pressure, otherwise you can get a little fall-out. Even with that gentle sweep, you get the most incredible shimmer and glow to the skin.
