The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint Review

Monday 31 May 2021

Another foundation that has been talked about non-stop is the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint (£25.00 for 32ml), and I couldn't wait to try it as I love all Fenty Beauty products that I have tried so far. I also mentioned in a previous post how much I have been preferring lightweight foundations and as this covers that, I knew it would be a welcome addition to my makeup collection.

The Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint is available in 25 shades, ranging from fair to deep skin tones, and I have the shade 2, which is perfect for my fair to light skin tone. The Foundation comes in a plastic squeezy bottle with a narrow drop applicator so you can control the amount of product you are using. This instant, blurring skin tint has a buildable light to medium coverage and I find it best applied with a BeautyBlender sponge rather than fingertips or a foundation brush to give a lovely, smooth finish.

The formula contains a HydraBlend Complex to keep the skin hydrated whilst wearing and the smooth texture layers well with primer and skincare. However, if you are in a rush, and want a simple one and done complexion product, I find that you don't necessarily need to use a primer with it or a powder to finish it off with. I have combination skin, with dry cheeks and an oily T-Zone and I found that it keep my oiliness at bay throughout the day and didn't transfer whatsoever. I also have a lot of redness on my cheeks and chin area, and even though this isn't a full coverage foundation, it still concealed those areas.

It is worth pointing out that you do need to shake this Skin Tint before using it as it is a thin, water-based formula that can separate whilst standing. I only used around three drops for my face, for a lightweight coverage, so a little goes a long way. Obviously if you want to build up the coverage, you would need a few more drops, but I find that it blends effortlessly with no caking. Also worth noting is that it does have a scent to it, however, it is a light almost floral fragrance, which once applied to the skin, you cannot smell, so I know some people really don't like fragrance in their products, but this one is unnoticeable once it has been applied.

Overall, I really enjoy using this foundation, and I think once the warmer weather rolls around, it will be perfect due it feeling so lightweight and moisturising. You can find it online at Harvey Nichols here.

The Perfect Nude Lip - Huda Beauty Sweet Nudes Power Bullet Cream Glow Lipstick + Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Lip Pencil

 This post contains gifted items.

Some beauty products really do have super lengthy names nowadays! Haha! But anyway, today I am sharing with you the products you need to get the perfect nude lip, no matter what your skin colouring or preference, using the Huda Beauty Sweet Nudes Power Bullet Cream Glow Cream Lipstick and the Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Automatic Lip Pencil. (See, I told you there were going to be some long names here!).

All good lip looks need a lip liner to set the base and even out the lip line. The Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Automatic Lip Pencil* (£17.00 for 0.5g) is available in 12 different shades including reds, nudes, pinks, browns and berries. I have mine in the shade Honey Beige, a stunning warm nude with a hint of spice, and the formula is so pigmented and so creamy, that you could absolutely wear this all over the lips without adding a lipstick or a gloss. The finish is matte, so you can wear the Lip Contour 2.0 with a matte or regular finish lipstick and this lasts all day! Once applied, it locks onto the lips and does not budge, smudge or wear away. I love that the lip liner packaging is the same colour as the lip liner itself, so it is easy to pick out the correct shade when looking in your makeup collection, and there is a mini sharpener at the bottom so you can create a super precise lip line as well as the pencil having a twist up and retractable tip. Years ago, I would never bother with a lip pencil, as I didn't see the point, until I actually used one and realised how much better it looks, as it prevents lipstick from moving about, it helps to even out the natural colour of the lips and helps provide longevity of your lip colour. I actually have quite a naturally uneven lip line, and so I am rarely without a lipliner when applying lipstick now.

I couldn't decide on an exact lip colour, as sometimes I prefer a lighter nude and sometimes I want to wear something a little darker, so I chose two shades of the Huda Beauty Sweet Nudes Power Bullet Cream Glow Cream Lipstick (£22.00 for 3g), both of which work perfectly well with the Honey Beige Lip Contour 2.0. The first shade is the lighter one, Butter Cup, which is actually a soft light pink, but which one me looks more nude. The Sweet Nudes Lipsticks come in a similar packaging to Huda's original lipsticks, with a magnetic closure, so there's going to be zero lipstick spillage in your handbag! I am obsessed with this formula and this shade - it is super nourishing, ultra hydrating and the formula glides effortlessly onto the lips. They give the lips a high-shine finish, medium buildable coverage and because of that shine, your lips look fuller, without the lip fillers! Using this shade with the Honey Beige Lip Liner, has a contrast where my lips look fuller, but without it being too stark of a contrast.

The second shade I chose is Habibi*, which is in the tube a warm, pink-toned shade, but again on my lips, when used with the Honey Beige Lipliner, it creates a deep nude shade. The formula is creamy and buttery, and glides onto the lips effortlessly, but it doesn't feel heavy at all either, which I much prefer with my lip products. When creating the Sweet Nudes Power Bullet Cream Glow Lipsticks, Huda wanted to create all-inclusive shades, and the shades are split up into Sweet Nudes and Bossy Browns, and then there are two to three of each in Light, Medium and Rich, and each lipstick packaging has the colour story and tone it is from, so it is easier to figure out which shade will suit you the best. Butter Cup is a Sweet Nude shade and is in the Light category, and Habibi is also a Sweet Nude and is in the Rich category, so you can really go to town and try out different shades depending on your mood.

The Good Zest Company Bodycare & Accessories Review

Saturday 29 May 2021

 This post contains gifted items.

After trying out some of the products from The Good Zest Company, I was eager to try more, as I love the ethos behind the brand, with them being both organic and waste-free. I believe now more than ever, it is super important to support small businesses and you can find out more about the brand on my original post here.

The first product I wanted to mention is The Good Zest Company Organic Body Oil* (£19.50 for 150ml), a hand-blended organic oil that is made up of just seven natural ingredients, all chosen for their unique qualities that will hydrate, soften and nourish the skin. This Mandarin-fragranced oil is suitable for all skin types, but is particularly beneficial for those with dry or sensitive skin, and it comes in a glass bottle with either a screw cap or a pump applicator, depending on which you prefer. Key ingredients include Almond Oil to improve the skin tone and texture and reduce the appearance of scars, Apricot Oil, which has a high content of antioxidants which is especially great for dry or mature skin as it deeply nourishes and softens the skin, Grapeseed Oil to improve the moisture levels of the skin, therefore reducing fine lines, wrinkles and sun spots, Evening Primrose Oil to soothe the skin and strengthen the skin's barrier to reduce moisture loss, Rosehip Oil which will also help to improve the moisture levels of the skin whilst giving a healthy, dewy look, Pomegranate Oil to penetrate deeply into the skin and soothe dry skin, and Mandarin Essential Oil and reduce ageing, rejuvenate and brighten the skin as well as boosting your mood. Apart from added Vitamin E, that is the entire ingredients of this product. No nasties, no artificial colours or fragrances, just natural goodness. I have been using this on an evening after my bath, and have noticed such a difference to how my normally super dry skin has transformed and is looking and feeling so much more healthier and nourished, so much in fact, that now I don't have scars from dryness, I won't be afraid to put my shorts on once the summer sunshine rolls around.

I mentioned in a blog post a couple of weeks ago how dry my hands have been, now that we are going out more and applying yet more antibacterial hand gel, so I wanted to try out The Good Zest Company Grapefruit Hand Lotion* (£8.95 for 200ml, which is exceptional value!). The aluminium bottle comes with a screw cap along with a push-down applicator, so once again, you are able to choose what works best for you and reuse the pump with other products. This Certified Organic Hand Lotion has added Organic Grapefruit Oil to nourish, soften and hydrate the skin. The formula is free from artificial colours and fragrances, so it won't irritate sensitive skins. There are other scents available, but I love Grapefruit as I find it super uplifting and invigorating. I find that the formula is moisturising and hydrating and a little goes a long way, without leaving behind a greasy residue, so you can carry on with your day, rather than having to sit and wait for your hand cream to sink in.

My Dad is a traditional soap and water kinda guy, but I like to make sure he is using the most natural ingredients with his soap and so another product I chose is The Good Zest Company Lemon Zest Organic Soap* (£5.95 for 100g). This handmade soap comes in an aluminium tin that is great for storing your soap in, and especially useful for travelling with. There are other natural scents available, but I opted for Lemon as it is one of my favourite clean fragrances and this formula contains Organic Italian Lemon Oil and Organic Lemon Zest to gently cleanse and nourish the skin. All soaps will be different of course, but there is even a piece of lemon inside this soap of mine, just to show how very natural this product is. The soap lathers up nicely, and makes my skin feel super soft and cared for. The Good Zest Company also offer a variety of eco-friendly accessories and I picked up the Natural Bamboo Soap Bag* (£3.50), which is made from 100% Bamboo, making it super soft as well as being anti-fungal. you can store your soap in this bag, but run it under warm water and it is soft enough for delicate facial areas as well as your body! How cool is that?!

Another couple of eco-friendly products I picked up is the Travertine Soap Tile* (£4.95) and the Fairtrade & Organic Canvas Tote Bag* (£3.50). Travertine is a type of limestone that is formed by mineral deposits from natural sweet water springs and as Travertine tiles don't have to go through the manufacturing process and are deposited around geo-thermally heated hot springs, it is the perfect eco friendly option. You can of course use this to place your soap onto, to protect your sink from getting messy, or as a coaster for your drinks and as no two tiles are the same, you are always getting a unique piece. I am forever nipping to the shop and forgetting to take a reusable bag with me, and so I got the Fairtrade & Organic Canvas Tote Bag to keep in my handbag at all times, so that I always have a bag on hand. This Tote Bag is made from premium quality cotton canvas and the organic cotton is grown without pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers. I love that I also get to show off a small business whilst doing my shopping!

The KVD Vegan Beauty Good Apple Skin-Perfecting Foundation Balm Review

Friday 28 May 2021

The KVD Vegan Beauty Good Apple Skin-Perfecting Foundation Balm has been everywhere! TikTok users went crazy for it, and so naturally, I had to try it out for myself! The product comes in a completely recyclable clear compact - yay! - and you get 10g for £29.00.

There are a whopping 40 shades to choose from, ranging from pale to deep skin tones, and I did watch a You Tube video that said to order a few shades deeper than you might think, as the colours did come out lighter, so I opted for the shade Light 010, which is for light skin with cool pink undertones. This foundation is a buildable, full-coverage, hydrating balm that has a lightweight long-wear formula and a fresh matte finish, although personally I didn't find it overly mattifying and if you have oily skin, you would probably have to use a powder over the top.

The formula is infused with Apple Extract to help nourish the skin and I found that the Balm minimised the appearance of my pores and gave an overall, smooth healthy look to my complexion. It is non-cakey, flashback-free, and covers blemishes and discoloration, and I normally have quite red cheeks, and so I did really appreciate the coverage this gave me. I have combination skin, with an oily T-Zone and drier cheek areas, and so whilst this worked overall for my skin type, I did find that a powder over the T-Zone worked best.

I did try using a foundation brush, a BeautyBlender and my fingertips to apply the product with and I definitely preferred the look using my fingertips gave. Because this is a high coverage foundation, you can go over the top of blemishes after applying if you need a little extra coverage, which again, was really good for the redness on my cheeks. Since not wearing a huge amount of makeup during lockdown, I don't always like heavy foundations anymore, and as this is so lightweight and comfortable to wear, I have been reaching for this quite a lot recently.

My Top Five High End Bronzers - Dior Forever Natural Bronze, Illamasqua Colour Correcting Bronzer, Dolce & Gabbana Solar Glow, Danessa Myricks Balm Contour & Patrick Ta Major Sculpt Review

Thursday 27 May 2021

As someone who is pretty fair-skinned, a bronzer is a must-have product for me on a daily basis. I have tried SO many different formulas, some costing a couple of pounds, some costing £40.00+, and so I feel I have a good amount of testing underneath my belt to present to you my five favourite high end bronzers...

First up is the Dior Forever Natural Bronze (£40.00 for 9g), which is available in eight different shades, and I have shade 02 Light Bronze, but if you have super pale skin, there is a lighter one. The Bronzer comes in a cream quilted compact with the CD logo on the front and a mirror on the inside of the lid. Dior Forever Natural Bronze is a soft and lightweight powder that blends seamlessly onto the skin for a natural, long-wear result. The formula is infused with Wild Pansy Flower, which helps to preserve the skin's natural hydration and so it is super comfortable to wear and doesn't dry out the skin. Because of this, I believe it is the reason that it looks so seamless on the skin and there is no patchiness nor do you get an obvious block of colour on the skin. It really is a delight to use, and warms up my complexion beautifully.

As soon as I saw the Illamasqua Colour Correcting Bronzer (£34.00 for 8.5g), I knew I had to try it out! If you have ever used a bronzer that has an unhelpful undertone, then you will love this! The Colour Correcting Bronzer comes in a fairly large black compact and has a mirror on the inside of the lid, and then three shades in the pan - a warm and a cool shade along with a turquoise shade to help colour correct. There are three shades available and I have the lightest, Glint Light, which works well for my fair to light skin. This buildable bronzer duo has colour correcting pigments that help to neutralise and balance the skin tone and it has a long-lasting formula that creates a beautiful bronzed look on the complexion. It can be used with a large brush swept across all three shades, or individually. The aqua pigment helps to neutralise any redness you may have from rosacea, blemishes and sensitivity which I found helped me so much as I do always have redness on my cheek area in particular.

Just how beautiful is the packaging on the Dolce & Gabbana Solar Glow Illuminating Powder Duo (£55.00 for 13g)??? D&G really do make some of the most beautiful makeup packaging I have come across and it even translates onto the powder itself with this product. There is a mirror on the inside of the lid and then you get half of the pan featuring a champagne highlighter and half featuring a bronzer. If I am wanting a slightly glowy bronzer, then this is the product I turn to! This bronzer has a satin finish to it, if used on its own, or you can of course swirl both products together for an even better bronzy glow to the skin. The formula contains natural caring butters and so it is nourishing and hydrating on the skin along with D&G's Mediterranean Glow Complex, to illuminate your features and warm up the complexion. I have mine in the shade 3 Golden Sand, but you can also get a warmer option too. So, so beautiful!

If you prefer more of a cream formula with your bronzer, then I would highly recommend the Danessa Myricks Balm Contour (£26.00 for 10g). There are eight shades available and I have Light 1, which again works perfectly for my lighter skin tone and the Balm Contour comes in a black and silver compact with a mirror on the inside of the lid. This buildable balm is enriched with skin-friendly ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamin E and replenishing Meadowfoam Seed Oil and allows you to customise the coverage for realistic depth. The formula melts into the skin, blurring plumping and nourishing, to create the most beautifully natural warmth to the complexion, so there are no giveaway tidelines, just an even finish that looks gorgeous on the skin. As someone with combination skin, my cheeks do get quite dry sometimes, and so if I overdo it on the powder products, my skin can look a little chalky, so that is when I reach for this lightweight, nourishing formula.

Finally, if you can't make your mind up about balms or powders, then the Patrick Ta Major Sculpt Creme Contour & Powder Bronzer Duo (£35.00 for 9g) has them both! There are three shades available and I opted for She's Stauesque, the light option. The compact is rose gold and has a mirror on the inside of the lid, and then a cream contour, which is protected with another lid, and then a powder bronzer, both of which are quite generous pan sizes. I love how customisable this bronzer is, as you can use the cream, or the powder, or layer them on top of each other. The cream is dewy, lightweight and easy to apply, whilst the powder is finely milled and doesn't look chalky on the skin, and both blend and build seamlessly into the skin. There is many a reason why this product is continuously sold out, but if you manage to find it in stock, I would definitely pick it up as it is such an effortless bronzer duo, and looks super pretty and glowy on the skin.

The Huda Beauty Brown Obsessions Toffee Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches

Wednesday 26 May 2021

As much as I enjoy a larger eyeshadow palette, I especially love smaller, more compact eyeshadow palettes as they are easy to store, easy to travel with and even easier to create different looks with, as they often have a particular colour story. The Huda Beauty Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes* (£27.00 for 7.5g) come in three different colour stories - Caramel, Toffee and Chocolate Brown and here I have the Toffee version.

The Huda Beauty Brown Obsessions Toffee Eyeshadow Palette has a gorgeous tortoiseshell design on the front and back of the compact, a mirror on the inside of the palette and nine stunning eyeshadows. Toffee Obsessions features a silky smooth blend of caramel, buttercream and golden toffee mattes (anyone else now craving something sweet?!) paired with shimmering honey and sugared almond metallics. I love that you not only get a good shade range here, but many different finishes and textures too.

There are velvety smooth powders, intense metallics, buttery marble cream shimmers and irresistible pearl flake textures so you get complete freedom to create so many different eye looks with this one neat, petite palette. Huda Beauty's eyeshadow formula is one of my favourites as it is consistently good, and never lets me down. There are never 'weak' shades or formulas, and you know in minutes, whether you are a makeup newbie or a makeup pro, that you are going to be able to create a killer look.

Caramel Brown is a spicier addition and contains a combination of burnt caramel, hazelnut and maple mattes, along with molten copper apricot and rhubarb shimmers. Whereas Chocolate Brown is a modern edit of milk and dark chocolate mattes blended with decadent fudge metallics, sprinkles of brown sugar and berry shimmers. So, whilst all three have a very apparent brown colour story, each one is completely different and so it is really down to your personal choice, although I do want all three! I have many of Huda's Obsessions palettes, some years old, that I still reach for now, as they always look incredible.

Current No7 Skincare & Makeup Favourites

Tuesday 25 May 2021

 This post contains gifted items.

No7 have released so many great skincare and makeup products recently and so I wanted to share some of my current favourites with you. I include some newbies, and some cult classics from the No7 line.

First up, is the iconic No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Serum* (£25.95 for 30ml), which sold out like crazy when it was first released. This clinically proven serum reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, with results that get better through continued daily use. The formula contains three times the concentration of key No7 age-defying actives and absorbs quickly into the skin to re-energise tired-looking skin and help protect your skin from future signs of ageing to keep it looking younger for longer. Don't we all need some of that! Key ingredients include Matrixyl 3000 Plus, No7's next generation anti-wrinkle peptide technology to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, Pro-Retinol to support the skin's renewal process, Antioxidant Complex with Mulberry and Ginseng extracts to protect the skin from future signs of ageing, Hyaluronic Acid to replenish the skin with moisture and Vitamins A, C and E to add a radiant glow to the skin. Different serums and facial oils are to be used in either before or after moisturiser, and you use this Serum before you apply your moisturiser as it helps to penetrate deeper into the skin, both morning and evening. When I use this daily, I see results in as little as 2-3 weeks, which for the price of this, compared to much higher end skincare brands, is such amazing quality and there are always multiple offers on No7 skincare and beauty at Boots so you can often grab an even better deal!

With the constant dreary, wet and cold weather we have been having recently, my skin has been in much need of a moisture boost and so I have been trying out the No7 Advanced Ingredients Hyaluronic Acid & Camellia Oil Facial Capsules* (£20.00 for 30 capsules). If you need instant hydration, plumper and smoother skin, then these are for you! Each capsule contains a combination of different molecular weights of Hyaluronic Acid in a carefully blended mix, spanning low molecular and high molecular weights, and draws moisture into the skin for instant benefits and long lasting hydration. The formula contains two key ingredients - Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Acid and Camellia Oil. Hyaluronic Acid is well known for being able to hold 1000 times its own weight in water and as we age, the level of Hyaluronic Acid we naturally produce in our skin begins to diminish. Therefore these little teal blue capsules of joy are able to get that Hyaluronic Acid top up back into the skin to keep the skin looking plumper, and smooth out lines and wrinkles for skin that looks and feels much healthier and glowy. To use these Capsules, you simple twist the neck of them and squeeze onto your fingertips and apply to the skin both morning and night. You can use this in addition to a serum and moisturiser, applying the formula before either of these.

To get some glow back into my skin, I have been using the No7 Radiance+ Vitamin C Daily Brightening Moisturiser* (£14.00 for 50ml). I am obsessed at how revitalising this product is first thing in a morning! This gel/cream texture is super lightweight and is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive, and hydrated and brightens dull skin. As soon as you apply this, you can feel the hydration and it really brightens and wakes up my skin instantly. It is worth pointing out that this does have a light scent to it, and it is an enjoyable scent, but I know some people don't like using skincare products with a fragrance to them. Personally, it doesn't bother me and I have sensitive skin and I had no irritation from this. You can use this on an evening as well as in a morning, but I personally prefer a thicker cream formula on an evening and I much enjoy using this in a morning to brighten up my complexion and add some hydration into the skin.

I have naturally hooded eyelids, which in essence means that my eyes look smaller, and you can start to see the skin above my eyelid droop down, which makes it harder for my eyes to appear more wide and open. As I get older, that will worsen, and as I have hooded lids, my naturally fair, fine, short and straight lashes don't often look their best. As we age, our lashes and hair starts to weaken and our lashes can look fairly sparse, so it is such a good idea to invest in a lash serum, however, these can be pretty expensive, and so I have been using the No7 Age Defying All-In-One Serum Mascara* (£15.50 for 7ml). This all-in-one mascara improve the appearance of lash quality over time, helping the lashes to become stronger from root to tip, reducing breakages. Now this isn't the most volumising or lengthening mascara in the world, but it definitely provides some length and volume, but the main reason I love to use it is that it has made my lashes look and feel much healthier and thicker naturally. The Mascara is available in Black and Black/Brown, so if you are fairer and prefer a more natural looking mascara, then the Black/Brown is an excellent option. I have been using this over a period of a couple of months and even in that time I have seen results, so continuously using this product is going to help the appearance of the lashes, ensuring your eyes look brighter and more open.

You can find No7 online at Boots here.

The Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub Review

Monday 24 May 2021

This post contains a gifted item.

My skin has not been at its best recently, which I think is down to a mixture of the cold weather and my ever-changing endometrial hormones. I have had a lot of texture on the skin, and not just in one particular area either, so it was time to put the Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub* to the test. This product is available in three sizes - Jumbo 200ml £55.00, Full Size 100ml £34.00 and Mini 40ml £18.00, so whether you are wanting to try it out without splurging on a full size, or you absolutely love it and want to go Jumbo, there is a size for all. A little goes a long way with this scrub, and so whichever size you opt for, you will get plenty of use.

The Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub was the first skincare product that Huda Kattan (Huda Beauty) released with her skincare brand Wishful, and it comes in a pretty pale lemon and holographic silver squeezy tube. Yo Glow is a gentle, yet powerful exfoliating facial scrub that is infused with a combination of Pineapple and Papaya Enzymes, BHAs and AHAs that leave the skin with a healthy glow. Papaya Fruit Extract helps to smooth the skin and increase the skin's clarity, leaving you with a radiant glow, while Pineapple Fruit Extract gently exfoliates the skin, reducing dark spots and soothing the skin, BHAs and AHAs help to exfoliate dead skin cells, reduce dark spots and even out the texture of the skin and overall complexion and the Cellulose is a soft exfoliant that gently removes dead skin cells, to even out the texture and complexion too.

You can use Yo Glow daily, however, I personally have quite sensitive skin at times and so twice a week is sufficient for me. It is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive and I had no irritation from it whatsoever. The formula is lightweight and to use, you simply apply onto clean, dry skin, and then gently massage the scrub in circular motions across the face and neck, rolling and sweeping away dead skin cells and impurities and then rinse well with warm water and gently pat the skin dry, leaving you with the healthiest, smoothest, glowy complexion that lasts way more than on just the first day of use.

You can find the Wishful Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub online at Huda Beauty here.

The Revlon So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara & Vinyl Eyeliners Review + Swatches

Sunday 23 May 2021

This post contains gifted items.

With lockdown restrictions now easing, Revlon have the best, fiercest eye products to make your eyes look their very best, even when wearing a mask. The Revlon So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara and the Revlon So Fierce! Vinyl Eyeliners are going to give you the boldest lashes with long-lasting results.

The Revlon So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara* (£9.99 for 10ml) is available in a regular formula or a waterproof formula, and gives your lashes bold, rebellious volume that lasts all day and night. The applicator is a natural bristle brush and has a curvy side to volumise the lashes and a flat side to fan out the lashes. giving you the best of both worlds. As someone with fair lashes, the thing that attracts me most to this mascara is that it gradually tints the lashes in as quick as just seven days of daily use! So not only am I getting big volume, without flaking, smudging or clumping, but I am also saving money on having a lash tint! Genius! I noticed a difference with the colour of my lashes after about 7-8 days, of applying it everyday, and it really has made such a difference as with such fair, barely there lashes, it does knock my confidence if I am going somewhere without mascara on, but that has changed that for me. If you read Kathryn's Loves frequently, you will know my lashes are not only fair, but short, fine and straight and so it takes a GOOD mascara to make a difference for me, and this fragrance-free formula really helps to open up and separate my lashes, whilst adding volume and length.

Now onto the creamiest, glides like butter eyeliner formula, the Revlon So Fierce! Vinyl Eyeliner* (£6.99 for 1.2g). This Eyeliner is available in six different shades, so there is a colour to suit all eye colours and eye looks. There is Force Of Steel, a steel grey, Midnight Mystery, a deep black, Mighty Mocha, a warm brown, Powerful Plum, an aubergine purple, Righteous Rum, a burgundy red, and Royal Rules, a vivid royal blue. The formula delivers a shiny vinyl finish, bold pigmentation and up to 16 hours of wear and they are just such a pleasure to use! I love how easily and smoothly they glide onto the skin, so there is no tugging or pulling that delicate eye area and it gives such a beautiful finish that stays in place throughout the day without feathering, or smudging and as someone with often sensitive, watery eyes, this even stays on my waterline, which is miraculous in itself. I also appreciate that they have released so many different shades - as someone who is fair haired and fair skinned, a black liner can look a little too intense for me on a daily basis, but the grey, the brown and even the burgundy all look so pretty!

In the package Revlon kindly sent to me, was also a stunning face mask from Florence Bridge (£19.99) and I just wanted to mention it as it is SO pretty! It has a cotton lining and a satin front and I would definitely consider this my going out out mask! It has beautiful ribbon straps that can be tied in two different ways and is fully machine washable. There are so many beautiful colours to choose from too! I will definitely be checking them out when I next need to order a new mask.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
