I have been seeing the Maybelline SuperStay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipsticks everywhere and so I just had to pick up some shades to try out. Luckily, they were on 3 for 2 at my nearest Superdrug!
The Maybelline SuperStay Vinyl Ink Liquid Lipsticks retail at £11.99, and so I paid just under £22.00 for the three of them, which isn't really that bad at all. The shades I chose are 15 Peachy, a peachy nude, 20 Coy, a medium pink and 35 Cheeky, a medium nude.
They come in rectangular packaging and have a narrow sponge applicator to allow for precise application, which I find useful with liquid lipsticks. The formula is no budge vinyl colour that is supposed to have a wear time of up to 16 hours - I have never worn a lip colour for this amount of time so I cannot give you my thoughts on the longevity of the liquid lipstick.
However, the formula doesn't budge, smudge or transfer and gives instant shine to the lips, helping them appear fuller. The formula is vegan and is enriched with Vitamin E and Aloe to give a comfortable feel to the lips. There are ten shades available - mainly neutrals, but light neutrals, medium and deeper ones, reds and a pink or two, so there is a shade for the majority of skin tones out there.
To apply, you need to shake the bottle for at least 5 seconds to mix the formula for the best application, and then pop onto the lips, and let dry fully before going about your day. I really enjoy the coverage this gives along with the shine and the formula doesn't feel at all drying on the lips - which is great for me as I have naturally fine lips. I would definitely recommend trying these out if you are after something glossy, but which also stays put for hours on end.

I've been struggling with boxcar scars for years, and it's been a real source of insecurity for me. I've tried countless treatments, but nothing seemed to work until I discovered microneedling. It's not a quick fix, but I've noticed a significant improvement in the appearance of my scars after just a few sessions. Highly recommend giving it a try!ReplyDelete
