I say this every time, but I ALWAYS look forward to a new KIKO collection, and this one is by far one of the classiest ones I have seen...Welcome Fall 2.0. Venice and its timeless surroundings serve as the backdrop and inspiration for this limited edition collection, featuring intense, sensual colours, ranging from elegant nudes to romantic reds, decadent blues to purples. Here are some of my loves from Fall 2.0...
Duo Bronzer in 01 Bright Life (£15.90)
The packaging throughout this whole collection is just so decadent and luxurious, its worth seems way beyond its price tag. This pressed bronzer duo is available in two shades, and is made up of two parts: a matte finish and a metallic finish, which is SO pretty. The creamy texture leaves a soft, invisible veil on the skin to give you a radiant, glowy look to the skin and also minimises imperfections due to its Soft Focus properties. The compact includes a mirror, so this will be perfect for on the go touch ups, or if you're lucky enough to be jetting away this year.
Highlighter in 01 Gold in Progress (£13.90)
In a smaller (cuter) compact, we have the Highlighter, which is a baked strobing face highlighter. Due to its baked texture, making it both lightweight and fine, this powder sinks effortlessly into the skin, making it silky to the touch and providing a natural radiance, highlighting all the best bits. Gold in Progress gives the most beautiful, shimmery finish to the skin, and it isn't too heavy or full-on.
Magnetic Eyeshadow in 04 Purple Mind (£12.90)
I have honestly not seen anything like this before! It perhaps doesn't pick up on camera, but in real life, it looks almost fluffy/velvety in its little glass pot! This is a metallic-finish loose eyeshadow, which has an innovative long-lasting formula and is super soft and velvety on the skin, making it a dream to blend! The pearls in the powder stick to the magnet at the base of the packaging so that they keep the original wave pattern and it doesn't spill out. Mind blown! The shade Purple Mind is also going to be perfect for Autumn/Fall, and is bang on trend. Love it!
Eye Base (£8.90)
This unifying eye base has been created using a creamy mousse texture, which is perfect for applying on the upper and lower lid, to give a comfortable feeling to the skin and leaving an invisible feather-light veil that masks the signs of fatigue. Eye Base facilitates eyeshadow application and extends its wear time, illuminating the complexion with natural colour. It has a sponge doe-foot applicator, and is therefore so easy and quick to use.
Blush Brush (£14.90)
Possibly the most elegant makeup brush I have come across, this angled brush helps you to apply and blend powder blush, bronzer and highlighter. It has the perfect angle to fit into the contours of the face, ensuring your product is placed where you are wanting it to be placed. This high-precision brush is perfect for sculpting defining the angles of the face, and due to the angled cut of the bristles, makes it great for contouring.
