Zoella Beauty Jelly & Gelato Collection

Tuesday, 1 August 2017

I always look forward to a brand new Zoella Beauty release, and wasn’t disappointed by the recent Jelly & Gelato Collection, and as would be expected by the You Tube sensation, the packaging is total goals too! Let’s see what’s included…
Gelato Bath Wafers (£5)
I love anything that I can pop in my bath, and so these baby pink bath ‘wafers’ are just perfect. They are fizzy once popped into the bath, and are enriched with extracts of Elderflower and Pomegranate to help brighten, smooth, moisturise and tone the skin. Each packet contains one bar that can be broken in half, but I reckon you could easily get four bath’s worth out of these.
Gelato Bath Milk (£7)
Probably the product I was most excited about, because Bath Milk powder reminds me of when I was a little girl. This Bath Frosting Bath Milk Powder comes in a sweet container and again contains extracts of Elderflower and Pomegranate. A little goes a long way too, so you can get quite a lot of baths from this product.
Gelato Beauty Clutch (£14)
Featuring two of my favourite colours, coral and mint, this bag is perfect for holidays or at home! It is very spacious and can be used to store your makeup or body care products, and then be used as a clutch bag on an evening. It folds over, and has a hidden magnet to ensure it doesn’t flap open, and a stylish zip complete with little charms.
Gelat’Eau Body Mist (£8)
The latest edition to a consistent Zoella Beauty product, is the Gelat’Eau Body Mist. More of a perfume in the way it is presented, and the due to the longevity of its wear, this sweet and slightly floral fragrance also has a hint of fizz, a little like sherbet. I adore the packaging throughout this collection, with its geometric shapes and pinks and corals, it looks super pretty.
Gelato Body Pudding (£8)
I love this cute pot, however the product is least like its name sake, as it is not at all anything like a pudding consistency. This Body Cream is a little like (a lot like if I’m honest) the body cream from a previous summer collection, with a white creamy base and pink beads of moisturiser. It isn’t overly moisturising, but perfect for Summer when you don’t need something as thick and luxurious.
Gelato Cream Body Scrub (£8)
I adore how this looks like sorbet! It makes me want to be sat in an Italian marketplace eating sorbet! However, daydreaming over, I really like this product, it of course has the same fragrance, and as body scrub is something I always use, this is great for me. It really is creamy yet manages to remove the remnants of fake tan, and leave your skin feeling super soft.
Gelato Shower Shake (£6)
Possibly the funnest packaging, with it’s cherries and straw sticking right out of there, this Body Wash is more of a shower creme, and is both cleansing and moisturising. Is £6 a little expensive for a shower creme considering most are around £1-2? Yes, I think it is, but as it’s Zoella, they will charge that, and people like me will pay that.
Gelato Shower Sauce (£5)
Not sure why we need two shower gel/creme products, but I am guessing this is to resemble the sauce you would put on your ice cream! I think this is the most basic/least exciting product from the collection, but it is still pleasant enough to use, and you can never be too clean! The fragrance is the same sweet, slightly floral scent as with the others and I do think it is lovely for Summer.
You can find the Zoella Jelly & Gelato Collection instore and online at Superdrug.

All the Loves,

Kathryn x
