Revolution Pro Supreme Matte Lip Pigments

Saturday 5 May 2018

Revolution are the Kings of new releases, and one of their most recent releases is their Revolution Pro collection, which consists of a whole host of foundations, primers, concealers, various kinds of palettes and lip products, including the Revolution Pro Supreme Matte Lip Pigments.
There are a whopping thirty shades of the Supreme Matte Lip Pigments to choose from, with a variety of colours and finishes, and I recently ordered six of them to try. I am sometimes a little sceptical when ordering lip colours online as they don’t always arrive the shade you are necessarily expecting, but the Superdrug’s closest to me often have a very small selection of Revolution products and most of them have been opened or tested.

The Revolution Pro Supreme Matte Lip Pigments are super comfortable to wear and are full of rich pigment, which dry down to a matte finish that is budge and smudge proof. The creamy formula glides onto the skin seamlessly with the sponge doe foot applicator included within the tube. Packaging wise, I would say they have a very good resemblance to the YSL Kiss & Blush Lip & Cheek Stains, but then we all know Revolution and the other brands within the TAM Beauty family do like to play copycat at times.
However, the sleek black packaging does give a hint of glamour, and at just £4 each, they are well worth the cash. If I had been buying these in a store, I think I would have perhaps chosen some brighter colours, as some seem quite similar, but overall I am happy with my selection.

So, which shades did I choose? Starting with Elevation, this is a matte mauve nude, which did look a lot more purple-coloured on the website, but is still very wearable. Then we have Immunity, a matte cool mauve pink, a little similar to Elevation but lighter. Pretence is a matte warm brown, which is actually my favourite as I am really enjoying a light brown lip at the moment. Moving on to something a little different, Rags to Riches is a matte metallic warm gold, which I think will look incredible in the Summer with a tan. Semblance is a matte mauve nude which is very similar to Pretence, but a little lighter. Finally, Veil is a matte terracotta nude, which would definitely make a pretty everyday lip favourite.
Top to Bottom: Elevation, Immunity, Pretence, Rags to Riches, Semblance, Veil
The Revolution Pro Supreme Matte Lip Pigments cost £4 each, and at the time of buying, they were on a 3 for 2 offer and so they were an absolute bargain for the quality and pigment you are getting. You can find them instore and online at Superdrug or online at Revolution Beauty.

All the Loves,
