Cult skincare and fragrance brand Philosophy have recently released two brand new fragrances into their Amazing Grace and Pure Grace collections. There are many variations of the Grace scents, which are renowned for their softness, and so it is fabulous to see two new additions. Welcome, Amazing Grace Ballet Rose and Pure Grace Nude Rose…
Amazing Grace Ballet Rose has been created by taking inspiration from the strength and agility of a ballerina, a soft, graceful beauty is captured in notes of delicate rose enveloping in sparkling lychee and peony and then layered with sheer pink musk. This is a very feminine fragrance, but with the sheer pink musk, it brings it to a current, women’s scent perfect for everyday and special occasions.
The exciting and elegant ballet begins with the first bloom of the delicate rose, the graceful choreography of notes is balanced with a hint of fruit, vibrant and sparkling lychee, peony and sheer pink musk and this is a combination where you can actually pick each contributor out, within this fragrance which gives off a well-thought out scent which lasts well into the evening. Philosophy create products with high quality ingredients and these two new additions are no exception. Keeping in line with Philosophy’s clean, simple, yet elegant packaging, Amazing Grace Ballet Rose arrives in a peony-adorned sleeve, to reveal the box itself, with the bottle mirroring the other fragrances within this collection.
Pure Grace Nude Rose has been created for effortless simplicity, expressed in a beautiful composition of delicate blush rose balanced by clean dewy greens, neroli and bright orange flower cocooned in the warmth and sensuality of cedar wood and sun-kissed musk. Personally I prefer quite woody, musky scents and so this would undoubtedly be my favourite of the two. Nude Rose is a slightly gentler fragrance of the two, but extremely wearable and I think this makes the perfect Summer scent, with not a coconut in sight.
Nude Rose is definitely a fragrance you could purchase for someone without truly knowing their preferred scents, as it covers most bases, as it is light, fresh, yet slightly heady with the cedar wood and neroli. In a morning, this has been a bottle which I have reached for time and time again before heading off to work and I have gotten so many compliments when wearing it. Packaging wise, as you can see, it is again following the Grace scent tradition, this time in vanilla hues and just as classy.
Philosophy Amazing Grace Ballet Nude and Pure Grace Nude Rose cost £33 for 60ml Eau de Toilette and are available at retailers such as John Lewis and Feel Unique.
All the Loves,
