Glossy Pops Lip Balm Coney Island Cone Review

Saturday 2 February 2019

Possibly the most unnecessary yet necessary purchase of late is the Glossy Pops Lip Balm and Lip Gloss Duo. They remind me very much of the Sugar Factory's Couture Pops, except this time with a lip balm and lip gloss rather than an actual lollipop.

When I was in Orlando, the Couture Pops were around $45, yet the Glossy Pops cost just £12 and last much longer than a lollipop. So, what's the deal? Glossy Pops look like lollipops, although the most luxurious kind, with their fully-crystallised handles, sweet charm on the end, and lip balm container at the top.
There are plenty of flavour options to choose from, so there will be something for everyone and each Glossy Pop contains both a lip balm and a lip gloss. For the lip balm, you simply flip the lid to reveal a sphere-shaped balm and for the lip gloss, you unscrew the 'lollipop' part to reveal a lollipop-styled stick on which you will find the gloss applicator. It is a clear gloss and also carries your chosen scent, in my case the Coney Island Cone scent.
The Coney Island Cone scent isn't my particular favourite as it is a little sweet for me, but I really liked the pastel colours of the Glossy Pop and the balm is super soft and really moisturises my lips so I cannot complain. I think for the price, you are getting plenty of value for money - not only do you receive a lip balm and a lip gloss, but also such a unique and fun way to house them.
You can find Glossy Pops online here.

  1. I didn't see any ingredient listed on their website, but lip gloss and lip balms aren't usually made out of gelatin. It's wax and oil so it should be fine.
