Who doesn't love a bargain? When there is a makeup or skincare product I am wanting to buy, I always do a Google search first to see what offers are about as nine times out of ten you can always find a deal somewhere. After watching a You Tube video where a girl recommended the Tarte Sex Kitten Liquid Eyeliner, I did my usual search and found that I could get it from Tarte for £19 plus £6 postage taking my total to £25. However, on Amazon.com (the US site) I found a Tarte set which included the Sex Kitten Eyeliner, a pair of gorgeous lashes and a tube of the Tarte Tarteist Pro Lash Adhesive. This was just $16 and with postage to the UK it still only cost me around £18 for the whole lot.
Like I say, gotta love a bargain! Okay so this doesn't include a full size of the eyeliner, but it is still an excellent size and I personally will probably never finish a liquid eyeliner as it isn't something I use everyday. The Tarte Sex Kitten Liquid Eyeliner has the cutest packaging, with its cursive writing and tiny little 3D cat head on the lid. I am pretty sure I wanted this just because of my love for cats. As mentioned, this is a liquid eyeliner and has a fibre tip which makes it super easy to create the perfect line. Sex Kitten is waterproof and smudge-proof and when I wear it, it easily lasts me throughout the day and night. I am in no means great at applying eyeliner, and due to the super skinny tip, it is totally goof-proof and it dries really quickly.
If bought separately, the Tarte False Lashes cost £12 a pair, which is probably around average for a higher-end brand of lashes. However, we don't have to pay that because ours are included in this set! I am really pleased with the style of lashes, because sometimes sets and kits can include quite wild, 'out there' false lashes and because I have quite small eyes and hooded eyelids, they never suit me. However, the style included in this set are some I would actually buy myself. They are enough without being too much - they go shorter towards the inner corners of the eyes, they have a great black adhesive band to give the appearance of an even lash line, and are fluttery and long without being over the top.
The last little treat included is the Tarte Tarteist Pro Lash Adhesive. This is a smaller, but again plentiful, size, with the regular size costing £8. I really do like this lash glue as it comes in a little tube with a screw off lid which houses the tip, making it so much easier to apply to the lashes. The tip is very fine allowing precise application and the glue is actually black, so when it dries it matches the lashes - genius!
As the exchange rate changes daily, you may find this at a better or slightly more expensive price than the £18 including postage I paid, but you can find it online here.
