DKNY Stories Eau De Parfum Review

Tuesday 26 March 2019

DKNY are well-known for their Be Delicious fragrances, but I am particularly a fan of the DKNY Stories Eau de Parfum, which to me seems a little more grown up. This was first released in 2018 and was a bit of a change for DKNY which normally release quite fruity fragrances, whereas this more sophisticated number has been a must-have for me lately.
DKNY Stories is an oriental-floral fragrance with top notes of Pink Pepper, Pink Guava Mousse and Black Cardamon, with heart notes of Jasmine Sambac, White Tea and Black Iris on a base of Vanilla Bean, White Sandalwood and Grey Amber Accord. These notes whirl together to present a fragrance that is both strong and feminine, classic and modern, sexy yet not understated and it is a perfume which you could wear during the day or an evening.
The fragrance was inspired by New York, of which it's skyline is printed on the box, and how many people have created their own stories in this charismatic and inspirational city. I myself visited New York for my 21st birthday, and we stayed in The Plaza, (from the Home Alone 2 movie) and I remember thinking how stylish and sophisticated so many people looked, yet there were also so many other different people on so many other journeys, it really is a fascinating place.
The bottle containing the fragrance has been based upon a New York skyscraper, and I love that it does have that effect, without looking grey and dull, but instead glamorous, yet understated. Whatever your story, you are sure to love this sightly spicy, floral fragrance, and I always receive comments when wearing it, from people asking me what it is, which speaks for itself.

DKNY Stories is available in 30ml (£43.50), 50ml (£59.50) and 100ml (£79.50) and you can find it in-store and online at retailers such as Boots.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx

  1. That's great, well I am planning to do the same but instead of watching home alone, I will watch bump season 3 in UK as I have watched the previous two seasons already.
