Nestled behind gorgeous green scenery you will find Sessions Spa, which from the outside in has a grandeur feeling to it. From the columns at the front of the building, to the gorgeous decor inside. I recently took a trip there to try out some of the treatments they offer and wanted to share my experience with you.
Sessions Spa can be found along New Walk, Beverley and offers beauty treatments such as facials from Carita and Decleor, aromatherapy and deep tissue massage, Nouveau Lash treatments, waxing, tanning, OPI nail services and so much more. As you enter, there is a feeling of professionalism as you go up to the Reception desk, where you will also find plush velvet chairs and shelves full of the top names in beauty and hair care products.
There is also a feeling of calmness as you step into the spa changing room, where you will also find a dressing table full of gorgeous Decleor and Carita skincare products so that you can remove your makeup. You are handed a fluffy robe and spa slippers to get changed into before you enter the relaxation area. Attention to detail is paramount throughout Sessions Spa, you will find tealights lit up on every table, flowers, the latest magazines, and an area that is hidden away where you can help yourself to cold water, herbal tea and more.
I enjoyed the feeling of privacy throughout the relaxation area, as there were tables and chairs tucked away so that you could enjoy quiet time on your own or chat with a friend or loved one. There are two separate areas, one which has a cooler temperature, and then another room which is slightly warmer, which will be perfect during the colder months. Following on from the relaxation area you will find a steam room and a cold shower, complete with fresh towels on hand.
Everything about Sessions Spa looks and feels so decadent, and as if you are hiding away from the stresses of everyday life, and is a little piece of comfort. I was lucky enough to have two treatments with my therapist Sam. I cannot rate Sam highly enough, she was pleasant yet professional and her thoroughness throughout both treatments was second to none. I have had many treatments at many spas and I must say the 30 minute Back Massage I had was by far the best I have personally experienced, and I have even been to massage specialists.
Sam ensured I was comfortable throughout both my treatments, with my second treatment being the Decleor Ultimate Vitamin Glow Facial. This treatment takes just under an hour and is perfect for dull skin, as your skin is deeply exfoliated and cleansed. You then have a mask placed over the face, and whilst that was working its magic, Sam gave me a hand and arm massage, further enhancing my experience. I use Decleor skincare products at home and so I knew I would have no issue with them, but Sessions Spa do ask you to fill out a form beforehand so that they know if you have any sensitivity or health problems which could affect your treatment.
The building is full of surprises and many doors, and once you leave the spa, you can open another door which transports you from the grandeur of the spa to the bright, airy, modern hair salon. Split on two floors, and looking stunning, the Salon offers all kinds of hair treatments, such as cutting, colouring, treatments and styling. I had a Wash & Blow Dry and the hairstylist talked through how my hair felt and which Shampoo & Conditioner would benefit my hair the most. One of their main hair care brands they use is Kerastase, which is definitely one of the top brands when it comes to hair care products, again no scrimping here! My stylist was lovely and chatty and my blow dry was soft and smooth without the need for hair straighteners.
As I mentioned, I have visited many spa and beauty salons, and the prices throughout both the spa and salon are very competitively priced. I always believe you get what you pay for, but at Sessions Spa, you get a little bit more than you paid for due to the hospitality and ambience. You can find out more about Sessions Spa, Beverley online here. The address is Sessions Spa, New Walk, Beverley, HU17 7AE and offers free onsite parking.
All the Loves,
*I was gifted this experience, but all opinions are my own
It was found massage lowers the hormone cortisol which can trigger depression and anxiety, while it increased the levels of neurotransmitters which help to reduce depression. 출장안마 프로필ReplyDelete
Yes, depending on how you use it, as a post-workout recovery tool it definitely makes more sense... this can promote relaxation of the muscles, as well as circulation. I'm just not sure I would apply it globally (ie: roll out the whole body).구리출장마사지ReplyDelete
