Primark Summer Beauty Haul

Monday 1 July 2019

As always, there are plenty of new additions in the Primark beauty halls, and so I thought I would do a little haul post showing you what I have picked up from the current Summer range, although I am sure there will be plenty more additions over the next couple of months.
The PS Island Escape Lipglosses cost £2.00 each and I have two shades here, and although I couldn't see any other shades in my local store, you may find others in yours. The two shades I have are Take Me To Paradise, a shimmery coral, and Half-Past Nude, a shimmery nude colour. The packaging is cute, and features palm trees and the gloss itself gives a great pigmented and glossy finish.
I have so many pots of loose glitter that I thought I would try out the PS Iridescent Primer (£1.50), which is stated as being great for loose glitter. You get 14.5g and a little goes a long way with this, so it is definitely excellent value for money. As suggested by the name, this does have lots of iridescent glitter in it, and so it can be worn on its own as a glittery eye gloss or as a base for your loose glitters and shimmers.
I picked up one of the PS Define Brow Gels in the shade Dark Brown to try and find a much cheaper alternative to Gimme Brow as they were just £1.00. However, the brush on this is far too big for my naturally fine eyebrows and so unfortunately this is a no for me, but if you have larger bushier brows then I would definitely suggest picking this up.
I love getting the PS Lip Balms as they only cost 60p, and always come in such fun designs and fragrances. Two of the newer scents include Watermelon, and When Life Gives You Lemons. I would say that the Watermelon Lip Balm is definitely more heavily scented, which I love as I am addicted to the scent of watermelons.
Finally for makeup, we have the PS Island Escape High Intensity Eyeshadow Palette, which both internally and externally is a dupe for the Urban Decay Beached Eyeshadow Palette at a fraction of the price. I loved the Beached Palette and I love the mint green and palm tree packaging on the Island Escape one too. The palette includes four matte shades and four high-shimmer shades. The shimmer shades are incredible, but go in with a light hand as when swatching I went in hard and nearly ruined the Barefoot shade. This is definitely a must-buy!
Every so often I like to pick up one of the 20ml fragrances from Primark as they are ideal for keeping in my handbag or travelling and they actually smell really nice. This time I picked up the Tropic Dreams Eau de Parfum and for just £2.00 you cannot go wrong. It has of course, a tropical print on the bottle and smells quite fruity, and perfect for Summer.
As I love the watermelon scent so much I also bought the PS Watermelon Cream Face Mask (£1.00) which is to hydrate and nourish the skin. I also picked up the PS Purifying Matcha Latte Cream Mask (£1.00) which is infused with green tea and so will be nice and calming on the skin after a day in the sunshine and the Coconut Jelly Face Mask (£1.00) to soften and hydrate the skin. I have tried the cream masks before and they are great, and I thought the Jelly Mask would be really refreshing and hydrating on the skin after a day in the sunshine.
Finally, I picked up the PS Gel Eyemask 2pk (£1.00) in a cute glittery shell design. I love popping these in the fridge and applying them onto my eyes if I am extra tired in a morning or if it has been a hot day, as they work really well at de-puffing the eye area and cooling down the skin.
You can find out more at Primark here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
