Ace Beaute Oceanic Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches

Sunday 4 August 2019

There are SO many eyeshadow palettes on the market at the moment and so I think brands have really been having to go all out with new releases. I certainly don't need any new eyeshadow palettes, but we all know that doesn't stop us buying another. Whilst browsing Instagram, I noticed the Ace Beaute Oceanic Eyeshadow Palette on Trendmood's account. I had never heard of the brand before, but looking at the colours, I knew I had to have it.
This black and gold palette comes complete with a shell-bordered mirror on the inside of the lid and fifteen good-sized shadow pans. Some shades are matte and some are shimmery metallics, and they are just stunning! Obviously, as you can tell by the name, this palette is based on the sea, and so it is full of greens and blues.
Even though there are some delectable bright shades, which are what caught my eye, there are also darker shades which are going to be great through Autumn and Winter too. I had to get this imported from the US, but Beauty Bay do stock Ace Beaute here in the UK, so I am sure eventually they will get this on their site.
There was very little to no fall out with the shadows and the colours are just incredibly pigmented. Inside the Ace Beaute Oceanic Palette you can find...
*Bora Bora - Light cornflower blue metallic
*Jellyfish - Golden green metallic
*Mykonos - Aquamarine metallic
*Blue Clam - Cobalt blue matte
*Pacific - Deep teal matte
*Bali - Cornflower blue matte
*Fiji - Aquamarine matte
*Turtle - Deep forest green matte
*Marina - Blackened teal metallic
*Bay - Medium blue metallic
*Anemone - Olive green metallic
*Algae - Neon green matte
*Seaweed - Olive green matte
*Seagrass - Medium green matte
*Lagoon - Deep navy blue matte
I think my favourites have to be Bali, Fiji, Algae, Bora Bora, Jellyfish and Mykonos and yes I couldn't pick one or two, I had to go for five because they are just so beautiful and this palette isn't something I have come across before.
The Ace Beaute Oceanic Eyeshadow Palette costs $38.99/£31.28 and you can find it online here, although it is out of stock at the time of writing this but you can enter your email to be alerted once it comes back into stock.

All the Loves,

  1. This palette looks gorgeous! I saw it the first time it came out, then forgot about it for a bit but now I really want it again... How are you finding the AceBeaute formula? I know people tend to have mixed feelings about it!
