Essence Epic Sunset Eyeshadow Palette Review + Swatches

Friday 4 October 2019

I get so excited for new Essence releases, as they always bring out such amazing collections and products at very affordable prices. The majority of Essence products I would easily pay three times the price, as their quality and performance is second to none. Today I will be showing off the new Essence Epic Sunset Eyeshadow Palette.
The Essence Epic Sunset Eyeshadow Palette costs just £9.99, and contains a mirror on the inside of the lid and 16 eyeshadows. There is a mixture of mattes, shimmers and glitters and there are also lighter and darker larger matte shadows for transitioning with or altering the depth of the other shadows.
There are warmer, Autumnal shades as well as a few neutrals and a few pops of colour, so you are going to be able to get a lot of use from this palette. Overall, the palette was inspired by the colours of the sunset in the desert, which I think is really beautiful, and it is always interesting to know what causes the inspiration for products.
When I first swatched a couple of the shades, I went in fairly firmly, but you absolutely do not need to do that. These shadows are very highly pigmented and you only need a small amount of product to give you the most incredible results. Due to the shadows having such a soft texture to them, they are so easy to blend, which means less tugging and pulling at that delicate eye area. At 62p per eyeshadow, this really is phenomenal value, but then that is what I have come to love and expect about Essence products.
The Essence Epic Sunset Eyeshadow Palette would also make a great budget-friendly Christmas gift or stocking filler and you can find it online at Feel Unique here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
