Revolution Mood Skincare Collection Review

Saturday 15 February 2020

Revolution Skincare have just released a whole new collection - the Revolution Skincare Mood range, with four products for three moods - Angry, Stressed and Thirsty. I was kindly sent each and every product, so I wanted to give you the lowdown on each mood.
Starting with the Stressed Mood collection, there is the Mood Calming Cleansing Oil, the Mood Calming Overnight Face Mask, the Mood Calming Moisture Cream and the Mood Calming Skin Booster. The Mood Calming Cleansing Oil (£8.00 for 140ml) comes in a glass bottle, with a push-down applicator and is a blend of light, silky oils that help to gently cleanse and calm the skin, without leaving that tight feeling. The Mood Calming Moisture Cream (£10.00 for 50ml) s a soothing, comforting cream that helps to ensure the skin is hydrated and calm, containing Cannabis Sativa Oil to soothe and nourish, Korean Red Ginseng to smooth, Apricot Kernal Oil as an antioxidant and Ressurection Leaf Extract to calm the skin. The Mood Calming Skin Booster (£10.00 for 30ml) also comes in a glass bottle with a pipette applicator and these are booster drops that help to calm the skin and reduce redness and discomfort. They gently hydrate and nourish the skin for a healthier skin barrier and can be used both morning and night. There is also the Mood Calming Overnight Face Mask (£8.00 fir 50ml) which is a lightweight gel-cream that sinks into the skin and works overnight to calm it and leaving your skin feeling smooth, soothed and nourished and can also be used daily.
Moving on to the Angry Mood collection, this also starts with the Mood Soothing Cleansing Gel (£8.00 for 140ml) and all the packaging is the same as the Stressed Mood products, this time with a neon green accent. This is a gentle, lightly foaming cleanser that helps to remove excess sebum without stripping the skin or leaving it feeling tight and is the best collection for those with oily, acne-prone skin. The Mood Soothing Moisture Cream (£10.00 for 50ml) is a light and silky cream that soothes and hydrates the skin without clogging the pores or leaving a greasy residue. It contains Magnolia Bark Extract which is great for helping with acne and blemishes and Rice to soothe the skin. The Mood Soothing Skin Booster (£10.00 for 30ml) are booster drops to help soothe angry skin and reduce tightness and discomfort. The Skin Booster gently hydrates too, to leave the skin soft and supple, whilst also helping to fight blemishes. Finally, the Mood Soothing Face Mask (£8.00 for 50ml) is a cooling lightweight gel cream that quickly sinks into the skin, and helps to provide overnight relief and comfort to aggravated skin. A hero ingredient within this mask is Black Cumin Seed Extract, which is renowned for fighting bacteria, helping your skin to be much clearer and healthier.
The Thirsty Mood skincare collection is for those with dry skin types, and the Mood Quenching Cleansing Cream (£8.00 for 140ml) is a soft cream cleanser that is going to help remove dirt and impurities without leaving the skin feeling dry or stripped of moisture. It contains Green Sea Caviar to nourish the skin and Cannabis Sativa Oil to soothe and nourish to allow for comfortable skin. The Mood Quenching Moisture Gel (£10.00 for 50ml) is a lightweight and non-sticky gel formula that provides an instant layer of hydration to dried out skin. It can be used both morning and evening to keep skin hydrated. The Mood Quenching Skin Booster (£10.00 for 30ml) are silky drops that help to provide the skin with an instant hit of targeted hydration, and so if you suffer from particularly dry skin, these are going to rid the skin of that dryness and help it to feel and look a lot healthier. The Mood Quenching Face Mask (£8.00 for 50ml) is a lightweight gel cream that provides a silky veil of hydration, helping to quench thirsty skin throughout the night, so that you wake up with smoother, nourished skin. It contains Cactus Extract to moisturise the skin and Birch Water to keep it well-hydrated.
Each skincare regime within this collection costs just £36.00 if you were to buy all four items, which of course even includes a face mask, and at hundreds of other skincare brands, that would barely buy you one item. You also get a good amount of product in each container, which equals or exceeds the general skincare product sizes. I would definitely recommend checking these out. You can find them online at Revolution here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx

  1. While some people may view using a writing service as cheating, I see it as a way of getting help when you need it. Sometimes grademiners, life gets in the way, and you need to rely on outside assistance to stay on top of things.
