Due to the lack of holidays (thanks Covid!), I am paler than ever, and even if Sun Bed shops were open, I prefer a more healthier approach. I have recently been trying and loving the Bali Body Clear Self Tanning Mousse* (£25.95 for 200ml) and I just had to share my thoughts with you all.
The Bali Body Clear Self Tanning Mousse is available in different shades, but as I am naturally fair skinned, I didn't want to go too dark and so I have been trying the Light version. The Tanning Mousse comes in a pretty light nude bottle and has an easy-to-use pump applicator so you can control the amount of product you are dispensing.
This particular self-tan has a zero transfer formula and so you don't have to worry about it getting on your bed sheets or staining your nightwear, which is a definite bonus as so many self-tanners can ruin clothing and bed sheets. It has a transparent formula and is enriched with nourishing oils for smooth, hydrated, bronzed skin. It is a doddle to use, even if you aren't a self-tanning expert like myself, and you can achieve a light, natural looking and streak-free tan in just 2-6 hours, depending how light or bronzed you want to go.
Bali Body products are 100% vegan and due to the nourishing oils, they are even suitable for my often-sensitive skin. Sometimes I do get irritation from tanning products, but I had nothing like that with the Bali Body Self Tan and it actually helped to keep my skin hydrated. As I mentioned, I am definitely not a tanning expert, but even I managed to get a streak-free, all-over bronzed, glowy tan with this product and I would highly recommend it!
I always use a tanning mitt when applying fake tan, as it is so much easier and it ensures I don't wake up with 'tan hands'. Therefore, I would recommend using the Bali Body Luxe Tanning Mitt* (£12.95) to apply your self tan as it is super soft and helps you create a streak-free tan in minutes. I like to use this mitt to apply my tan, working in long, circular motions which gives a beautiful smooth tan without getting messy hands. This glove is completely reusable and it is recommended to hand wash it after each use, which I did and it was still just as soft and velvety as it was the first time I used it.
