The winner of the Best Packaging Innovation is the Oryza Beauty Dewy Glow Balm (25ml RRP £11.95). The packaging is made from plastic that has been reclaimed from the ocean, more so than any other brand, which is such a step forward in the world of beauty packaging. The Dewy Glow Balm is an all-purpose skin and lip balm with UVA and UVB filters for sun protection and is moisturising, anti-inflammatory, protective and soothing for all skin types. It can be used on the skin, lips and nails, but also on the face to add a dewy glow to your makeup.
I am sometimes useless at remembering to use a nail base coat, and then I end up with stained nails, so I am super pleased to see the OPI Natural Nail Base Coat (15ml RRP £13.90) in here! This is the winner of the Best Nail Brand For Women Over 40, and I completely agree - OPI has stood the test of time when it comes to nails and there is a reason for that. Their treatments and polishes are some of the best around and are always so reliable. This high-performance base coat prevents stains from brighter and darker polishes and grips the nail polish for a longer-lasting, chip-resistant manicure.
I love under eye patches, as I find them so soothing and hydrating, and the SiO Beauty Eye & Smile Lift Wrinkle-Smoothing Patches (RRP £20.00) are actually reusable! How blooming great is that and so much better for the environment and our purses! These won the Best Beauty Innovation For Women Over 40 and are made of medical grade silicone so they comfortably hug the skin, gently compressing it to stay flat and smooth.
