I have seen many amazing Yes Style Beauty Hauls on You Tube and have always wanted to try the company out as they have so many brands that we cannot get here in the UK. Yes Style recently reached out to me and asked if I would like to select some of their products to try out, which I was absolutely thrilled about! Here are my thoughts on the cutest beauty products available...
First up, I chose the Etude House Missing U Hand Cream* (7 Euros 15), in the Harp Seal Story variety. This hand cream comes in the most adorable seal packaging and the formula contains select herbs that are combined with Shea Butter and Olives to pamper and soothe the hands. The cream feels like velvet and is quickly absorbed into the skin, leaving the hands feeling baby soft and nourished without leaving behind a greasy residue. This is an absolute joy to have on my bedside table and the cuteness levels are off the scale. There is also a panda, a penguin and a pink dolphin to choose from.
As a huge Disney fan I had to choose the Etude Tsum Tsum Jellyful Blur Balm in Daisy Duck Peach* (13 Euro 80). This super cute (apologies now, but everything in this haul is pretty much super cute!) compact as Daisy Duck on the front, which opens up to reveal a sponge applicator and a mesh net. You then press the applicator into the mesh and it then has the Blur Balm onto it, which you then apply to the complexion. This is a primer, and it feels super hydrating and cooling as soon as you press it into the skin, and manages to blur out pores and any imperfections. There are other shades available with other characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Chip and Dale. I opted for Daisy as Peach toned complexion products work really well for my fair to light skintone.
As we are now in Summer (apparently), my skin tends to get oilier and so the next product I wanted to try is the Hello Kitty x Cathy Doll Oil Control Blur Pact* (7 Euros 45). This sweet pink compact features Hello Kitty on the front and opens up to reveal a mirror on the inside of the lid, a sponge applicator and the powder itself. This pore-blurring powder helps to absorb and control sebum to give the skin a smooth, matte finish. It also brightens the complexion and isn't at all cakey or heavy, feeling very lightweight and mattifying on the skin. I prefer to use this with a brush rather than with the puff it comes with, but I find that it lasts all day long, keeping my oiliness at bay.
The Etude House Blossom Picnic Blossom Cheek* in the shade Blossom Breeze (8 Euros 15) comes in the prettiest packaging! The compact is a nice size - not too big and not too small either, and is adorned with soft pink and gold blossom on the front. You open the compact to reveal the blush itself, which is also adorned with flowers. The shade Blossom Breeze is an almost peachy pink, and is so pretty on the skin, though there are three other shades to choose from, which are all gorgeous and I would definitely love to try them all. This powder is made with fine pearls and oils, making it hydrating on the skin but also giving you a luminous, lit from within glow and has excellent colour pay-off, so a little goes a long way. This is the perfect Summer blush in my opinion.
I am super girly , especially when it comes to shimmer and sparkle so I had to pick up the Peripera Sugar Twinkle Liquid Glitter* (6 Euros 25). There are three colour options to choose from but Sodapop Flakes has my heart, with its peachy-pink shimmer base and iridescent glitter, which doesn't feel at all abrasive on the skin. This liquid glitter comes in a long-lasting, highly adhesive formula that doesn't clump up and comes with a finely tipped brush applicator so it is super easy to apply exactly where you want it. Glitter is always so hard to show in photographs, but this really is so pretty and you can use it on the eyelids, cheeks and even the nails!
The first of three lip products I chose was the Rom&nd Zero Matte Lipstick* (8 Euros 45) in the shade Pink Sand. I adore the feel of the packaging on this lipstick, as it is matte but velvety soft and opens up to reveal the lipstick. There are 20 shades available, ranging from nudes, reds, brights and more, but I chose Pink Sand as it looked a stunning colour for everyday. It is a delicate nude rosy pink that works well for my light skintone and really brightens the lips. The formula of the lipstick has a soft, lightweight texture that glides smoothly onto the lips and is pigmented so that one swipe gives you all the coverage you need. I definitely have to try some other colours in this lipstick as I have been wearing it non-stop since I first tried it, as it is matte without looking dry or cakey on the lips.
Okay, I knowwww, but this is SO cute! The Saemmul Mousse Candy Tint* (5 Euros 70) comes in sweet-shaped packaging, and you unscrew one of the ends to reveal a lip product applicator. There are 13 shades available and I opted for Strawberry, which, oh my goodness, smells divinely of strawberries, and is a light red tint. The thin, light mousse texture of this lip tint gives a super smooth finish and juicy colour on the lips, with the tint forming a protective outer layer on the lips whilst retaining pigment and moisture. The formula is infused with Honey Extract and Hyaluronic Acid to moisturise the lips and once you apply this, even when the initial product has worn off, you are left with tinted lips, so you always have colour on the lips, even after eating and drinking.
I have been going through lip balm like crazy lately, so I just had to choose the Frudia Blueberry Hydrating Honey Lip Balm* (6 Euros 45), which comes in an adorable honey pot packaging. This lip balm is infused with Honey and Blueberry extracts to nourish and protect the lips, whilst also providing a gentle exfoliation to give you smoother lips. I have been super impressed with the results this lip balm has given me - my lips are less flaky, and so much smoother and plumper due to the hydration, and it smells of sweet blueberries too!
