Lip balms are one of those things that no matter how many I have, I always buy more. I have tried so many, and love so many. So I wanted to put together a post of some of my favourite lip balms and lip products at the moment...

You cannot go wrong with Palmer's for skincare you can rely on. The Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Lip Balm* (£1.99 for 4g) is enriched with Vitamin E and also has the added benefit of SPF15, so your lips are getting protected from the sun too. This Lip Balm helps to prevent and protect chapped, cracked or wind-burned lips and is a great all-rounder and very affordable lip balm. It has a delicate scent of the natural cocoa butter, which I adore and is clear in finish so can be used for both men and women.

If you prefer a fragrance free lip balm, I would recommend the Biossance Squalane + Rose Vegan Lip Balm (£12.00 for 15g). This comes in a squeezy tube and has a vegan, petroleum-free formula that delivers long-lasting replenishment. The Biossance Lip Balm contains an ultra-hydrating trio of clinically proven moisturisers plus luxurious Rose Wax and plumping Wakame Algae to deeply nourish for healthy, soft lips. The formula locks in moisture to keep the lips comfortable and has instant and gradual augmenting benefits, which means your lips will also achieve their full, pouty potential!

If you are looking for a super nourishing lip balm that features SPF, then the That'so All-in-One Lip Balm* (£12.00) is an excellent option. This clear balm has a light texture that also keeps the lips hydrated and the delicate formula creates an emollient film that gives the lips immediate softness. The Balm also provides instant elasticity due to the Shea Butter it contains and protects the lips from the sun's rays thanks to the SPF15. Other key ingredients include Vitamin E and Safflower and Almond Oils to nourish and prevent dehydration from environmental factors.

For a hint of a tint, I love the Lanolips Tinted Lip Balm* (£8.99 for 12.5g), as they come in a wide variety of shades. These Tinted Balms also contain SPF30 and the formula contains a high Lanolin content, which drenches the lips in non-sticky hydration which lasts for hours. They have just the right amount of pigment to give you a super wearable tint and these are great for everyday as they also provide the lips with a gloss sheen. The shade I have here is Rhubarb, a fruity pink which is delicate enough to be super wearable but it still packs a punch. The Balm is in a squeezy tube and so is easily applied whenever and wherever you are.

For something plumping, I love using the Ark Skincare SkinEssential Advanced Action Plumping Lip Cream* (£32.00 for 15ml). This is an intensive moisturising Lip Cream designed to hydrate and repairs dry and cracked lips as well as plumping and smoothing the surrounding skin area. It can be used overnight as an intensive plumping lip treatment and during the day as a moisturising lip cream to protect against the drying effects of extreme weather conditions, so it is perfect for the warmer months too. This Lip Cream smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth, and so it is also beneficial to a more mature skin too. The formula contains Peptides to increase lip volume and hydration, Macadamia Lipids to maintain softness and prevent dryness and Allantoin to moisturise and soothe.

If you love a lip oil, then you have to try the Aroma Active Soothing Solid Lip Oil* (£8.00 for 4.5g). The Lip Oil comes in a very handy-sized twist-up tube and the formula helps to stop chapped lips by calming any dryness and hydrating the skin with lots of juicy soothing oils without it feeling greasy on the lips. Key ingredients include Shea Butter and Jojoba to hydrate the lips, and Calendula to stop any redness and swelling. You can apply the Lip Oil on its own or over the top of lipsticks for a pretty, glossy finish. It is a natural formula that has a delicate scent to it due to those yummy oils and so it does smell pretty amazing too.

For a deliciously scented lip balm, the Benecos Natural Lip Balm* (£2.95 for 4.7g) is great as there are many naturally scented options to choose from, and here I have mint, which is delicious and fresh. They are super affordable too and contain natural and organic ingredients such as Mint Leaf Oil and Shea Butter alongside many other oils, butters and waxes to care for the delicate skin of your lips, helping to prevent them from cracking, and keeping them super soft and smooth. The Balms come in a colour themed twist up tube and so are handy for popping in your pocket, handbag or on your desk or bedside table and have a clear finish to them so can be applied on their own or with other lip products too.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
