Ariana Grande has been performing, acting and singing for rather a lot of years now, but through tragedy, it wasn’t until last year when she became a household name. Ariana, took a huge amount of courage and strength at a fairly young age, and turned that tragedy round to empower people across this country and beyond. I had always liked her songs, and had discovered her fragrances through blogging, but I didn’t know a lot about her as a person.
Last year, the day after her One Love Manchester concert, I had an operation that didn’t turn out all that well, and left me feeling very poorly and is something I am still suffering from now. However, after re-watching the concert, and the positivity shine throughout that event, it gave me hope and realisation that I was able to get through it, that there were people much worse off than myself. I really began to fangirl a little over Ariana, with her glamorous appearance, and sweet nature, along with her can-do attitude, even at ten years my junior, I had and still have a lot of admiration for her.
I first noticed her newest fragrance release, Moonlight, last year, but it has only recently been released over here in the UK, and I have been scouring the internet for months awaiting its appearance. But, hurrah, it is finally here! Moonlight comes packaged in the same geometric style glass bottle as most of Ariana’s previous fragrances, except this one has a gorgeous iridescent sheen to it, a matte lilac cap and the softest lilac pompom, which is detachable so can be reused on a keyring etc.
Moonlight captures Ariana’s luminescent personality and was created to inspire confidence to be yourself and carries the strong message of being a positive light to those around you, which captures the essence of the One Love Manchester concert perfectly. The fragrance itself contains top notes of Rich Black Currant and Juicy Plum, with a heart of Fluffy Marshmallow and Fresh Peony, on a base of Creamy Sandalwood, Black Amber and Sensual Vanilla.
It is the sort of fragrance which you could wear during the day, or on an evening, as there is a hint of sweetness, and fruitiness but then that delicious base of sandalwood, amber and vanilla, making this a more grown up fragrance than a couple of Ariana’s previous scents. As it is also an eau de perfume rather than an eau de toilette, the fragrance lasts throughout the day, and gives a good strong burst of scent, without being overpowering.
Moonlight by Ariana Grande Eau de Parfum is available in 30ml (£23), 50ml (£31) and 100ml (£41) instore and online at Superdrug.
All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx

I know, I love the geometric design - it means it never falls off of your dressing table haha. The iridescence is so pretty too x
DeleteThis is customarily so since everyone is totally intrigued by taking out awful stenches which is normally caused by body sodden, warmth and sweat. men's cologne
