Burberry The Check Palette Blush & Bronzer Review

Wednesday 13 March 2019

Today is my 35th Birthday! Woohoo! Happy Birthday to Me! So I wanted to do a post on one of my favourite beauty products of the year so far - the Burberry The Check Palette Blush & Bronzer. Burberry tend to bring out a limited edition face compact perhaps once a year, and this is their 2019 one and as a collector of the compacts, I was lucky enough to receive this as a Valentine's Day present from my Dad.
Burberry is without doubt my favourite designer brand, I definitely don't dress in it everyday but over the years I have managed to save up and buy some gorgeous pieces which I treasure more than gold. This palette features the Burberry iconic check design which I think is why it is my favourite compact so far.
The Burberry beauty range is stunning, as you may expect, and everything from the packaging to the products themselves is high quality and reflects the classiness and simpleness of the brand itself. I was lucky enough to receive a huge PR package from them last year and I managed to try out so many products and overall some of the products are not much more expensive than a lot of other beauty counter brands.
The Cheek Palette comes housed in the tradition Burberry card packaging, and over that is a sheer checked sleeve featuring the Burberry check in pink colourways. Inside the box, there is then a velvet pouch which also features the Burberry check and in the front pocket of the pouch you will find a blusher brush and then in the main compartment, the compact itself.
Even though this is a limited edition, the compact packaging is the same as the rest of the makeup line, with its sleek metal outer case and a mirror on the inside of the lid. The pan is a decent size and houses the blusher and bronzer with that pretty and shimmery pink Burberry house check. I did kind of want to do a swatch for this post, but I couldn't bring myself to deface the beautifulness just yet! This is definitely a luxury item although as I mentioned it isn't ridiculous and I have seen beauty products twice the price before easily, but it is something for me to treasure and I will definitely get round to using it...just not yet.

The Burberry The Cheek Palette costs £45 and is available online at Burberry.

All the Loves,
The Birthday Girl xxx
