Face Mask Friday: Sanctuary Spa

Friday, 8 March 2019

I haven't done a Face Mask Friday for ages, and my skin certainly needs it. 2019 is the year of self-care, so switch off from the outside world, grab a warm drink, run a hot bath full to the top with bubbles, pop a face mask on and relax. Here are some of my favourites from Sanctuary Spa...
If you suffer from redness on the face, or your skin gets slightly irritated, then I would absolutely recommend the Sanctuary Spa Nourishing Rose Petal Hydrogel Mask (£7.50). This is a powerful, skin-quenching hydrogel sheet mask which has been formulated using delicate rose petals and natural extracts containing a complex array of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Rose is really soothing and calming for the skin and so that will help reduce redness as well as adding moisture to the skin. This is definitely a really comforting and relaxing mask, and you only need to leave it on for fifteen minutes for it to work its magic.
For a little skincare fun, I adore the Sanctuary Spa Purifying Charcoal Bubble Sheet Mask (£5.00), which creates hundreds of microbubbles on the skin. This black sheet mask contains detoxifying absorbent charcoal and purifying oxygen to deeply cleanse the pores and purify the skin. The mask comes in two parts, and you apply them both to the face, and as soon as it is on there, it foams up all by itself, leaving your face full of tiny bubbles. You only need to leave it on for ten minutes, and so it is a really quick yet effective way to give some goodness to your skin. It is suitable for all skin types, and I love how much better my pores look and feel after just one use.
I don't know about you, but I have naturally (dang it) dark circles underneath my eyes and as I am not a great sleeper, my eyes often get quite puffy. One product which helps me combat this is the Sanctuary Spa Awakening Cucumber Hydrogel Under Eye Masks (£5.00). These masks only take ten minutes to use, and so if a bath isn't your thing in a morning, you can pop them under the eyes whilst showering or even whilst you are getting ready for work. The eye gel masks are infused with tea tree, brightening peony flower extract and collagen boosting Korean Gotu Kola, and they are so refreshing and cooling underneath the eyes. I wear contact lenses and have quite sensitive eyes, and I suffer from zero irritation when using these. They definitely help wake me up in a morning, and I tend to save them for when I have had a really restless night's sleep.
You can find these masks and more online at Sanctuary Spa.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
