Pamper Time With Sanctuary Spa

Monday 11 March 2019

It doesn't matter the time of year, a good pampering is the perfect way to practise self-care. Taking half an hour out of your hectic life can be an excellent little pick-me-up and so I have gathered together some of my favourite products from Sanctuary Spa which are going to give you such a good pampering session.
Run yourself a bath, pop in some bubbles, and start by cleansing your face. Once your skin is clean, leave it damp and apply the Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Thermal Charcoal Detox Mask (£10.00 for 75ml). This a delightful warming clay treatment which has been made using purifying Charcoal, mattifying Kaolin Clay and calming Myrrh Oil - beautiful relaxing ingredients which are great for the skin. Once applied to the skin, you will feel a slight warming sensation, and the mask will be working at drawing out impurities, dirt and pollution from the skin, whilst eliminating excess oils from the pores without drying them out.  This is suitable for all skin types and once you have removed the mask with warm water, your skin will be left feeling squeaky-clean and soft.
Now time for something a little different. Normally, you would apply a body lotion once the skin is dry, however the Sanctuary Spa Wet Skin Moisture Miracle (£8.00 for 200ml) is applied when the skin is wet. This is a unique way of capitalising on the skin's peak hydration and is clinically proven to lock in double the hydration for instantly softer and smoother skin. Wet Skin Moisture Miracle has that spa-like scent to it, but is not heavily fragranced and so is great for all skin types. It feels slightly gel or water-like when you apply it to the skin and it is fast absorbing too so you don't have to hang around waiting for it to sink into the skin. The formula has been made using Apricot Oil and Avocado Oil to ensure your skin is left well nourished and cared for throughout the day.
By now I am sure you will have heard of the amazing skin benefits of hyaluronic acid, which is great for keeping moisture locked into the skin. The Sanctuary Spa Hyaluronic Wonder Oil Serum (£19.50 for 30ml) is something I have been applying to my skin before bedtime every evening and can either be used instead of a normal moisturiser if you have normal/combination skin or alongside a moisturiser if you have quite dry skin. This Wonder Oil Serum has been formulated using a blend of effective natural ingredients and pure essential oils provide the skin with up to 24 hours of nourishment. The Serum is presented is a glass bottle and comes with a pipette-type applicator making it easy to control the amount of product you dispense and as you may be able to see, this has two phases - an oil and a serum, and you simply give the bottle a shake to blend the two together. A little really goes a long way with this product and so this will last you ages, and even though it contains oil, it doesn't feel greasy or heavy on the skin which I love. As well as keeping the skin nourished, the Serum also works at reducing the appearance of fine lines and boosting elasticity for a more youthful appearance.
Finally, to ensure I have a good night's sleep, I have been using the Sanctuary Spa Dream Easy Pillow Mist (£8.00 for 100ml). I have used pillow mists in the past, and I do find them helpful and although not everyone likes the scent of lavender, I personally find it so relaxing, and this one has also been infused with Jasmine and Ylang Ylang, so it is definitely worth trying out as the lavender isn't overpowering. I like that it sprays out a fine mist so that your pillow isn't going to get drenched and I like to spritz it just before I go and brush my teeth before bedtime, so that it has a few minutes to settle into the pillow. I find that if I have had a good night's sleep, then I feel so much more empowered to have a great day in the morning.
These gorgeous products and more are available online at Sanctuary Spa.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
