Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream Review

Wednesday 24 April 2019

When I am writing reviews on eye products and concealers, I often mention that I struggle with dark circles under my eyes, which I have come to admit is a hereditary thing rather than something I am doing wrong. However, that doesn't mean I don't want to try my best to improve it. I had heard a lot of bloggers and You Tubers mention the Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream before and so thought I would put it to the test.
I won't lie, I actually thought this was going to smell like banana, or have banana in the ingredients list, but it doesn't. The banana part of the name refers to the effect it has on the skin, like a banana powder, it colour-corrects any redness on the skin, giving an illuminating effect before you apply concealer. The Eye Cream contains Vitamin C, which helps to brighten the skin with continued use, so as well as colour-correcting, you are also working on lessening the appearance of the darkness.

The formula also contains Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter to hydrate the skin and leave it feeling soft and smooth and the texture is quite rich, and so you only need a very small amount per use. If you suffer from fine lines around the eye area, this cream also contains vegetable-derived collagen which is going to plump up the skin and soften out any fine lines, again with continued use, and this isn't something you would notice after just one application.
You can apply the Eye Cream morning or night, but I personally prefer to use it in a morning because of the illuminating properties. I also find that if I am applying makeup that day, this cream helps to smooth and hydrate my under-eye area and so my concealer sits on the skin a lot more evenly and stays in place throughout the day. I have been using this for around six weeks now and my eye area is definitely looking brighter on a daily basis, and as you only need to use such a tiny amount, I still have plenty of product left, so this is definitely worth the investment.

The Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eye Cream costs £30.00 for 15ml and is available in-store and online at Boots.

All the Loves,

  2. Did you realize that despite the fact that most of ladies stand by until they are in their thirties or forties prior to starting to utilize these creams, when there are creams that can be effectively utilized well before the presence of barely recognizable differences and wrinkles? When as a general rule it is ideal to start utilizing eye cream in your late youngsters or mid twenties, subsequently forestalling the presence of future wrinkles, since it just bodes well to forestall any harm being done while you are youthful.Visibly Clear Blackhead Eliminating Daily Scrub

  3. Banana powder keeps makeup set up during high humidity whilst reducing shine. It's perfect to hold on the go in order to top up each day, especially together with makeup in key areas including the T-zone, beneath the eyes, and the chin. banana powder makeup
