Bobbi Brown Ultra-Violet Eye Shadow Palette Review + Swatches

Wednesday 15 May 2019

A lot of people slate Bobbi Brown when it comes to new eye shadow palette releases as they often bring out a lot of nude shades, but that is the simplicity and elegance of their brand. One of their newer releases is the Bobbi Brown Ultra-Violet Eye Shadow Palette and after seeing it and swatching it in store I knew I needed it in my collection.
The palette itself looks pretty funky for Bobbi Brown, as it has a gorgeous purple and blue iridescent look to it, you then open it up to reveal a mirror on the inside and then eight eye shadow pans. Obviously, the main colour theme of this palette is purple, but you do get a cream, a light burgundy and a black in there too. We will take a look at the shades now...
Left To Right, Top to Bottom:
White Noise - Matte cream
Strange Magic - Chrome Metal lilac mixed with blue micro glitter
Higher Ground - Matte light burgundy
Electric Plum - Metallic purple
Violet Hour - Chrome Metal purple
High Fidelity - Shimmer Wash light pink
Twisted Violet - Sparkle iridescent lilac pink
Black Charcoal - Matte black
I have been using some of the sparkle shadows from Bobbi Brown for years, and so I love that they are incorporated into this palette, along with various finishes and shades and you can definitely create many different looks with this palette, and even finish them off with a swipe of the Black Charcoal along the lash line.
The Bobbi Brown Ultra-Violet Eye Shadow Palette does cost £36.50, which isn't overly priced for Bobbi Brown at all, and each shadow works out at £4.56 each which is crazy for Bobbi Brown as some of their individual shadows cost £26.00 each! As you would expect from such a luxe brand, the pigment is all there, and even the glitters and sparkles apply really easily and look stunning on the lids.

You can find the Bobbi Brown Ultra-Violet Eye Shadow Palette online at Bobbi Brown here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
