When I was younger I used to hate using cream cleansers as I used to always get product in my hair, and so I would opt for a micellar water instead, which is not really the way to go as no micellar water will remove every trace of makeup. I have since learned this and now take my time to enjoy using cream cleansers, and so I have been putting the Gatineau Transforming Cream Cleanser to the test.
Gatineau recently released this new addition to their cleansing family and it is a cleansing cream which when emulsified with water transforms to a super lightweight, oily texture, with a refreshing and energising scent to it making it feel like a spa cleansing experience. Gotta love that! The Gatineau Transforming Cream Cleanser features a trilogy of super powered oils, with 42% combined concentration of Sweet Almond Oil, Coconut Oil and Soybean Oil, and I am sure I don't need to tell you how amazing oils are for the skin.
Due to the high concentration of oils, this cleanser works really well at breaking through heavy makeup, leaving the skin feeling squeaky clean whilst also making the skin look and feel smooth and silky. Mineral-rich Sweet Almond Oil is full of skin-loving goodness and is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat skin conditions and contains Vitamin A, Vitamin E and essential fatty acids which adds to the quality of the skin. Coconut Oil was originally well-known for its moisturising effect on hair and is a skin enhancing ingredient due to its higher than average water content and rich sources of essential amino acids which work at repairing and restoring the skin's natural barrier and slowing down moisture loss.
Soybean Oil dates back to traditional Chinese medicine and contains proteins, lipids and vitamins to give it amazing moisturising properties that help to even out the skin tone and boost radiance and luminosity. With the inclusion of Vitamin E, this is an extremely powerful antioxidant which can fend off and protect the skin against environmental aggressors. The Gatineau Transforming Cream Cleanser is suitable for Normal to Dry skin types and feels so silky soft on the skin whilst it removes makeup, grime and pollution.
It is super easy to add to your skincare routine, you simply massage onto dry skin with small circular motions, emulsify with water which will turn the cream into a milky oil and then rinse off with a muslin cloth or other face cloth. The Gatineau Transforming Cream Cleanser costs £29.00 for 200ml and is exclusive to QVC UK. Find it online here.
All the Loves,
