The Collection Glam Crystals collection recently had some new products added to it, and as a glitter and shimmer magpie, I of course snapped them up. Along with the Liquid Eyeshadows, Glitter Glue, Eyeshadow Palette, Eyeliners, Lip Toppers and Body Glitter, they now have Shimmer Mists, Glitter Drops and Metallic Liquid Liners.
I didn't pick up the Shimmer Mists as the shade just didn't really do it for me, but I picked up both of the new Glitter Drops shades and the four Metallic Liquid Liners. The Collection Glam Crystals Metallic Liquid Liners, as mentioned, come in four shades, Sunset Pink, Violet Haze, Golden Hour and Blue Skies and they are all kinds of pastel, shimmery, iridescent goodness.
The Metallic Liquid Liners cost £3.99 each, which I personally think is really good value compared to other brands out there. You get 4.5ml of product in each, which is plenty, and the handles are long to enable you to create a steady, precise eye liner look. If you like intense iridescent finishes, then you are going to love these and the brush itself is super thin and flexible so application is a doddle. They all have a kind of creamy base, but then the pink, lilac, golden and baby blue glitters shine through and really make their mark.
Cover FX have created some stunning liquid highlighter drops, but they are pretty expensive, and so I would have to save for one shade, never mind two or three. The Collection Glam Crystals Glitter Drops cost £5.99 each, and are often on a 3 for 2 offer, which makes your purchase even more reasonable. As far as I can see, there are just the two shades available, Main Stage and Encore.
Main Stage is a creamy coloured base with silver glitter and a light gold iridescence running through it, whereas Encore is a baby blue base, with blue, green and pink glitter and iridescence. Encore is a little out there for me as a highlighter, but when I was swatching them in the shop, the glitter was so fabulous, that I thought I could use it as an eyeshadow instead, or even across the body with a glowy tan.
