After meeting Jeffree Star last month, I have been even more obsessed with his brand than usual. He is one of the funniest, smartest, kindest people I have come across, and those attributes would probably surprise a lot of people. Jeffree Star knows his stuff.
The Jeffree Star Cosmetics Jawbreaker Collection was also released last month, and as always I wanted everything, but bought what I could afford. There are six Velour Liquid Lipstick shades in this new collection and as I simply couldn't decide, I ended up ordering four of the six.
I am obsessed with the neon chartreuse packaging - neon is bang on trend at the moment, and I am loving it. The chartreuse packaging of course carries on to the liquid lipstick container itself and the range of new shades is simply stunning.
The first one I chose was Fully Nude, a peachy warm nude that is going to be a great everyday go-to shade and will no doubt suit the majority of skin-tones. We then have Strawberry Crush, a neon strawberry red for a real pop of colour. Now, some of you may not know that you can wear the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks on the eyes too, and as I loved the shade Purple Urkle, I just had to buy it, even if I don't dare wear it on the lips, I can of course pop it on my eyelids. Purple Urkle is a blinding lavender, and has a slight amount of gold shimmer running throughout it, so it does look really pretty.
The final shade I decided upon is Yes Ma'am!, which does look a little like Prom Night, but when put side by side, this bright neon pink does look different. One of the main reasons I love Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks is that they are so comfortable to wear, without drying the lips out and they have great longevity too, so you aren't having to top up all the time.
