I was sorting out my Blogger Box recently, the place where I keep all my PR samples and items which I have bought to try out for my blog, and I happened upon the Revolution Nudes Collection Metallic Lip Glosses, which I had totally forgotten about! They come in a range of eleven different shades, which are all soft and very pretty, in three different finishes, matte, metallic and gloss.
The shades and finishes available are;
Bare All - Soft brown gloss
Boudoir - Subtle pink nude gloss
Exposed - Deep brown gloss
Skinny Dip - Mauve nude gloss
On Display - Chocolate nude matte
Stripped - Soft brown matte
Undressed - Peachy nude matte
Bustier - Soft rosy nude metallic
Corset - Golden bronze metallic
Lingerie - Light golden metallic
Pixelated - Chestnut metallic
The three I have here are Bustier, Corset and Lingerie as I really loved the metallic finish they have. The packaging is quite plain and simple, with a matte nude lid and a clear plastic tube. The applicator has a slanted sponge tip, which is quite thin so I find them really easy to apply. The formula is buttery soft and they glide on to the lips easily, with excellent pigment that gives a full coverage with just one swipe, which is great for a metallic lip product as sometimes they can be quite sheer.
The shades I picked are really pretty, and I think Bustier and Lingerie in particular would make for a beautiful lip product for brides and bridesmaids as the formula isn't sticky or gloopy and they have really good staying power. The Revolution Nudes Collection Metallic Lip Glosses cost £3.00 each which is excellent value, but they are often on a 3 for 2 offer so you can get three for just £2.00 each!
