Some products just look and feel boujee AF. The W=Hb2 Power Duo Face Serum is most certainly one of those. I adore trying new skincare products, because I am forever aiming for that 'perfect' skin look, and due to having to have synthetic hormones for my endometriosis, my skin changes like the wind. Everything about this product screams luxury, so let's see what it is all about...
The W=Hb2 Power Duo Face Serum comes packaged beautifully with white and rose gold accents, and attention to detail is definitely important for me. The bottle itself has a rather unusual design, due to there being two serums and applicators in one bottle, making the applicators look a little like yin and yang. It is made from frosted plastic, with glossy rose gold applicators.
There are, as mentioned, two parts to this serum, Phase I for Beauty, and Phase II for Health. The powerful ingredients included within this serum leave the skin feeling incredibly revitalised, with a slight tingly sensation to it too. both Phase I and Phase II are neither sticky nor tacky, and feels silky soft, with a gel texture, and Phase II is slightly looser. Due to this texture, as soon as you apply the serums, they feel instantly refreshing on the skin, which is an absolute delight in this weather.
The Serum comes with a little rose gold booklet which gives you product information and advises you to use both morning and evening. After cleansing the skin, I apply Phase I all over my face and then once that is absorbed, I then apply Phase II and then continue with my regular moisturiser. Although, I admit I never used to be, I am very thorough with my skincare these days, and so I didn't find it a hassle using this serum whatsoever and found it easy to slot into my routine.
Each Phase contains 15ml of product, which mightn't seem a lot, however as with all serums, you only need a very small amount per application. Both Phase I and Phase II contain a trio of active ingredients, with Phase I ensuring wrinkles are less visible after just two to three weeks and giving a more radiant and glowy complexion. Phase II is the health part of the duo, and helps to improve skin tone and reduces the appearance of age spots after 4-8 weeks. One of the things I love most about this Serum is that Phase II also helps to repair UV induced damage by factor 1.3 just 75 minutes after UV irradiation. As the world seems to be suffering more and more with global warming, we need to take more care than ever at protecting our skin against UVA/UVB damage.
The W=Hb2 Power Duo Face Serum does cost £110.00, so this is definitely a splurge, however, due to the results, I would highly recommend this serum as it not only gives you immediate superficial results, but also works deep down, over time to improve the skin and health longer term.
