Boucleme Revive 5 Hair Oil Review

Friday 9 August 2019

If you come here often, you may know how much I love to try out different brands and products. Although not a new-to-the-market-brand, Boucleme is a haircare brand which is new to me. Boucleme, generally speaking, create hair products for people with curly hair, however the Boucleme Revive 5 Hair Oil can be used on both curly and straight hair.
I personally have quite straight hair, which can go pretty frizzy, especially if I leave it to dry naturally, and therefore that is why I wanted to give this hair oil a whirl. The Boucleme Revive 5 Hair Oil comes in a glass bottle, containing a whopping 100ml of product and a pump applicator. There is a gorgeous aromatherapy-style fragrance to the hair oil, which I love as it keeps my hair smelling amazing.

A lot of people tend to be quite put off at the thought of using a hair oil, especially if they have oily or greasy hair, but it is actually one of the best things you can apply to your hair to keep it in tip-top condition, protecting it against heat damage, maintaining moisture and adding a salon-worthy shine to the hair. There are five key ingredients, which you may have guessed from the name, which are...

* Moringa Oil to promote healthy blood circulation and healthy hair follicles
* Mongongo Oil to help eliminate flyaway hair and smooth down any frizz
* Daikon Seed Oil to help prevent hair fall out, which also contains iron which is essential for keeping the scalp and roots strong
* Virgin Coconut Oil which moisturises as well as containing antibacterial and anti-fungal properties
* Olive Oil to soften and add shine to the hair
As a hair oil, the feel of the oil is very light and not at all greasy, although I would still recommend only using a small amount of the oil, as you don't need a lot. I have quite fine hair, and so I use a small pump's worth, warm it through my palms, and then apply onto my hair whilst it is wet. I find that it makes my scalp feel invigorating and my hair have a lot less frizz, whilst also giving my hair shine without it looking oily or greasy.

I think the only one negative I have with the Boucleme Revive 5 Hair Oil is that the glass bottle can get quite slippery when you are using it when you have residue left on your hands, but apart from that, I would highly recommend this to condition and strengthen your hair and scalp.

The Boucleme Revive 5 Hair Oil costs £28.00 for 100ml and you can find it online at Boucleme here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
