Excuse the pun, but I am obsessed with the Huda Beauty Neon Obsessions Eyeshadow Palettes, and in a gift with purchase goody bag from Cult Beauty, I received the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette and so I thought I may as well do a review on it as I was so impressed with the Neon ones.
The Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette contains nine eyeshadows like the rest of the Obsessions palettes, and this particular one contains eight matte shadows and just the one shimmer shadow. The colours are more autumnal than spring or summer-like, but some of the bronze tones would definitely still be great for Summer.
For some reason, the Obsessions palettes don't seem to have shade names, so I will try my best as I know shades don't always show up the same on camera. We will go left-to-right, top-to-bottom...
* Matte Burgundy
* Matte Warm Orange
* Matte Russett Red
* Matte Chocolate Brown
* Metallic Bronze
* Matte Warm Cream
* Matte Terracotta
* Matte Taupe
* Matte Milk Chocolate
I must admit that the shades in this palette didn't seem as pigmented or give as much coverage per swipe as the ones I tried in the Neon palettes and when swatching for the photos, I did have to go in a couple of times. I think for £25.00, for the pan size and pigment, I would rather pay a little more and get one of the Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palettes, as you can get a lot more colour choice and pigmentation there.
I am not saying this is a dud, however for me personally, I don't think it is better than other products out there, considering the price and size. I absolutely loved the Neon Obsessions, and so I would definitely try some of the other Obsessions palettes, but this one wouldn't make me want to go out and replace it if I used it up.
You can find the Huda Beauty Warm Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette online at Cult Beauty here.
All the Loves,
