Now this is a treat and a half for the skin this Autumn and Winter - the Vichy Soothing Aloe Vera Mask. This is a face mask which is suitable for very dry skin, and is designed to soothe red, sore skin that can be caused through dryness.
The Vichy Soothing Aloe Vera Mask comes packaged in a glass jar and contains 75ml of product and so you are going to get plenty of use from this pot of magic. This softening mask contains soothing aloe vera to comfort the skin and reduces redness and aids skin that is sore, tight, extremely dry and sensitive.
The mask is a slightly Shrek-looking green, but it isn't as if you are going to be going out and about wearing your mask. Unless you're into that - no judgement here! The formula is infused with 90% natural ingredients and along with aloe vera, the mask also contains liquorice and Vichy's very own mineralising thermal water to keep skin soothed, well-hydrated and soft to touch.
Due to having to have synthetic hormones, my skin is often all over the place, but generally speaking, especially at this time of year, it can get very dry and so this mask is perfect my skin. I also get redness due to sensitivity on my cheek area, and I have found that this makes such a difference at diminishing that.
To use the mask, you simply apply a thin layer all over the face, avoiding the eye area, and let it dry for just 3-5 minutes before rinsing off with water. I do recommend leaving it for a little bit longer if you have the time, as I find face masks really soothing and relaxing to use. It is recommended to use the mask one to two times a week, and after doing so, I find that my skin looks and feels a whole lot healthier.
The Vichy Soothing Aloe Vera Mask costs £15.00 and you can find it online at Vichy here.
