Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Skincare Collection Review

Monday 14 October 2019

If like me, your skin hates winter, then do not fear, because Jurlique have rejuvenated their Rare Rose formula to keep your skin hydrated and cared for all year round. Rose is a key ingredient with Jurlique products, and this collection has been named Moisture Plus, to not only give you moisture, but a little extra goodness too.
The Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Serum arrives in the sweetest rose pink and rose gold glass bottle with a pump applicator so that you can control how much product you are using. This silky super-powered serum both refreshes and rehydrates the skin, and uses Jurlique Rose and Dwarf Lilyturf Root extracts to protect against moisture loss, enabling your skin to look and feel fresh, healthy and glowy. The Rare Rose Serum is suitable for all skin types, but particularly beneficial for those with dry skin. The Serum itself is a light pink shade and feels refreshing on the skin upon application and one small pump can cover the entire face, meaning that this 30ml bottle is going to provide you with a lot of use. Now, I must say, obviously with this being a Rose collection, there is that rose scent there when you use these products, so if for any reason you don't like that, then these products wouldn't be for you. However, if that isn't a problem for you, your skin is going to get 24 hour hydration, and look and feel well-nourished, soft and fresh. The Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Serum costs £45.00.
There are a couple of different moisturisers available within this collection and first up we have the Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Gel Cream, which works best on normal to combination skin types. This gorgeous little pot of joy is again made from rose pink and rose gold glass packaging, which always feels lovely and luxe to me, and you also receive a little pink spatula so that you can keep your cream fresh without having to dip your fingers in. The Jurlique Rare Rose Gel Cream has an innovative, super-lightweight gel texture to it and is amazing for hydrating and plumping the skin without it feeling heavy or tacky, and is therefore a really comfortable cream to wear and use. The Jurlique Rose provides you with 24 hour hydration, whilst the plant resin Mastic Gum helps to re-balance moisture levels and prevent oiliness, hence why it is best used on normal to combination skin as it is a great cream for balancing out the skin. One other thing I do notice when using this cream, is that as well as keeping my skin oil-free, it also helps to reduce my enlarged pores, and so this is definitely a winner for me. The Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Gel Cream costs £35.00 for 50ml, so again you are getting a good amount of product for your money.
The new and improved texture of the Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Lotion, is not lighter than ever, and works really well as a primer underneath the makeup, or of course on its own. This hydrating lotion not only boosts and maintains your skin's moisture levels throughout the day, but leaves the skin with a pretty, dewy finish to help you look radiant and glowy. Suitable for all skin types, this Lotion contains Prickly Pear Extract which is great for calming and soothing even sensitive skin, and so if your skin hates winter as much as mine does, and makes it a little sensitive, continued use of this Lotion will work wonders. The Rare Rose Lotion comes in a 50ml pump-applicator bottle, again in that matching rose pink and rose gold glass packaging, and therefore is super quick and easy to use. As a running theme in this collection, that Jurlique Rose is going to keep the skin hydrated and nourished for up to 24 hours. I like to moisturise twice a day, but if you don't have time for that, just one use of either of the creams is going to give you all day and all night moisture and hydration. The Jurlique Moisture Plus Rare Rose Lotion costs £35.00.
