Last month I popped into my local Boots store and the No7 counter were giving free makeovers so that you could try their new No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced All In One Foundation. I have recently been loving makeup products that contain skincare, and more and more brands have been doing this.
I was really impressed with the final result of the No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced All In One Foundation and so decided to try it out as I was also given a £10.00 off voucher and you know how much I love a good deal or a freebie. This is No7's latest foundation release and is powered by the Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum: Matrixyl 3000 Plus, which is the brand's most effective anti-wrinkle peptide technology and is enriched with multiple skin-loving ingredients.
This foundation has been created to give buildable coverage, whilst also blurring out fine lines and pores to leave the skin instantly flawless with results that get better over time, which is one of the key benefits of makeup that contains skincare. One of my favourite skincare makeup products is the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Foundation, and that is partly because it contains SPF50+, but this foundation does too, so you can rest in the knowledge that not only does your skin look great with the foundation, but that you are also taking care of it by protecting it from the sun and working on reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pores.
Whilst I normally prefer a more fuller coverage foundation, this does have a medium coverage, but for daily use, I really don't mind that as it still gives me good coverage, and because of the skin-benefiting ingredients, I don't need to have that fuller coverage. One of the things I notice as soon as I apply the foundation (with a Beauty Blender) is how it blurs my pores, and as someone who has quite enlarged pores, this is one of my biggest concerns and so I think the main reason I went ahead and bought it was because of how well it covered up my pores.
There are 14 shades available, which there are in each of No7's foundations, and if you are one shade in another of their foundations, you will be the same shade in this one. I am Cool Ivory, and I have fair to light skin, and I find this matches my skin really well whilst also adding a slight warmth to my skin, which is much-needed.
The No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced All In One Foundation costs £17.00, which isn't bad for a 30ml foundation, especially one that contains skincare, and to be honest you can nearly always find some kind of discount or free gift on No7 counters. You can find the Foundation online at Boots here.
