Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser Illuminating Review

Wednesday 16 October 2019

Laura Mercier has recently updated her Tinted Moisturisers, with new packaging and slightly new formulas. I love Laura Mercier products, they look so elegant and they always work incredibly well. The only thing that stops me from having more products is the price - they are a more higher-end brand, however I do treat myself to a product or two every so often. My most recent purchase is the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser Illuminating.
This award-winning tinted moisturiser is available in just six shades, but with it being a tinted moisturiser and not a foundation, you are able to match it to different skintones much easier. This tinted moisturiser has a very pretty, dewy glow to it, which you can even see through the tube. It features SPF30 in its ingredients, so that you can rest assured you are taking care of your skin when out and about in the sunshine.
During the colder months my skin gets very dull and lacklustre, and so I do tend to go for a more brightening and/or illuminating base, which this Tinted Moisturiser has due it containing micro-pearl pigments for the healthiest-looking glowy skin. The packaging is now a pretty lilac-grey shade and the tube has a twist-off lid to reveal a point where the tinted moisturiser comes out of. I do prefer this kind of applicator rather than a pump, as sometimes product gets clogged up in pump and you end up covering yourself in foundation.

I opted for the shade Pearl Radiance, as I have quite fair to light skin, and this shade works really well for me. First things first, this is not a foundation, and so if you are wanting medium to full coverage, this isn't the product for you. However, if you are wanting a natural-looking glow to the skin, then this is definitely for you. I don't always like wearing full foundation on a day to day basis, and so this is perfect for me as it keeps my skin moisturised and helps to brighten up my skin.
However, as the glow is so pretty, you could of course add a drop or two of foundation in with the Tinted Moisturiser so that you could get more coverage from it, whilst also keeping a touch of that ethereal dewy glow. Each tube contains 50ml of product, which is much more than the normal 30ml foundations', and it is priced at £35.00, which certainly isn't the worst price considering other products on the market, and for the volume of product you get, it works out not too bad at all!

You can find the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser Illuminating online at Cult Beauty here.

All the Loves,
