One of my most go-to foundations in my mid-twenties was the No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation, as it gave amazing coverage and kept my skin matte all day long. As a beauty blogger I try out so many foundations and other beauty products that I hadn't tried the Beautifully Matte Foundation for a good few years and so decided to try it again whilst No7 were having a 3 for 2 deal.
The No7 Beautifully Matte Foundation is specifically for Normal to Oily skin, and I tend to have both dry and oily skin at times, although I would say at the moment I am mainly dry, and so whilst I knew this foundation would need a hydrating primer underneath, I still wanted to give it a go to see if it kept my skin as smooth and perfect as before.
This foundation has SPF15, and whilst not as high as other foundations, at least it has that in there. One of the things that I still love the most about this foundation is how it leaves my skin looking and feeling instantly - it has a medium to full coverage, and really does cover everything up straight away, including the redness I often get on my cheeks.
I suffer from enlarged pores, and again, this foundation covers that. For me, it is one of the best foundations for staying in place throughout the day, never has it wiped off or moved down my face, and for me, that is one of the key things whilst looking for a good foundation. No one wants to be reapplying foundation.
The Beautifully Matte Foundation comes in a pump applicator bottle and to say how many bottles I have gone through over the years, I have only had one that got half empty and had trouble with the pump. You get 30ml of foundation, which is the going size for a foundation, and the price is £15.00, which I find really exceptional value considering the results I get and the fact it has the SPF in there. Plus, No7 are nearly always on some kind of offer, so it can work out even cheaper.
