Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette + Swatches

Friday 25 October 2019

I don't have a clue why, but when the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette was first released, I never bought it. Whilst recently browsing my local Debenhams store, there was 20% off, and after seeing it in person, I decided to treat myself to the Palette. It really is a thing of beauty.
In the same format as the other Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palettes, the Cherry Palette is in a hard-cased palette, with illustrations of cherries on the front, a mirror on the inside of the lid, twelve eyeshadow pans and a double-ended brush.
The shades are, obviously, mainly of pink and purple hues, with a couple of base and transition shades thrown in there too. There is a mixture of mattes and shimmers texture-wise, and the shades included are;
*Hot Spot - Ivory Matte
*Caution - Soft Neutral Beige Matte
*Bang Bang - Shimmering Pink With Gold Shift & Iridescent Micro-Sparkle
*Feelz - Soft Dusty Rose Matte
*Juicy - Soft Warm Peach
*Turn On - Pale Metallic Rose Shimmer
*Ambitious - Metallic Rose Copper
*Bing - Deep Mauve Matte
*Devilish - Reddish Plum Matte
*Young Love - Metallic Cranberry
*Drunk Dial - Deep Metallic Burgundy
*Privacy - Deep Brownish-Plum Matte
I do think this is a lovely colour story, with the warm tones, and the pop of peach and the pretty sparkles from the shimmer shadows. I did notice very little fall-out with the formula, which is something I have come to expect with Urban Decay as their formulas are normally perfection. The shadows are very well pigmented, and a little goes a long way, due to such lovely, silky ingredients.
Shade-wise, I think my favourites have to be Bang Bang, Juicy, Bing and Young Love, just because they are quite different to anything else I own in my collection. At £42.00, this can be quite an investment for some beauty lovers, but the brand and the Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palettes have upheld their effortlessly, high-quality name for themselves and this is definitely one investment worth making.

You can find the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette online at Urban Decay here.

All the Loves,
