I love beauty advent calendars and I am obsessed with Essence Cosmetics, so when you put the two together, that is a whole lot of excitement for me! Even though we have Essence Cosmetics here in the UK, we only have a very basic line - other countries have some amazing themed collections as well as advent calendars. Here in the UK, we do have a DIY Essence Advent Calendar, but I already have the majority of products. I did a Google search for Essence Advent Calendar and the Essence Cosmetics Spread The Magic Advent Calendar came up, albeit from a German website.
The Essence Cosmetics Spread The Magic Advent Calendar costs 24.95 Euros, which works out at £21.53 and you receive 24 products inside. It shipped pretty quickly and I think shipping only cost me around £5.00, which I don't think is bad at all, considering some retailers charge that here in the UK. Each and every item is unique to the calendar, whether it is the product or the packaging, as they all have a very cute and sweet festive theme and illustrations on them.
The calendar itself looks a little like a Ferris wheel, and I found the boxes easy to remove, and to put back in. That's right, each item is individually boxed rather than a door-style calendar, and each box has a cute or sassy quote on the front, which I think is a lovely little touch. These include, 'Mornings take a little more coffee and a lot more Mascara', 'I make brow contact before I make eye contact', 'Your face is my favourite thing to look at' and 'Twinkle, twinkle little star, look how beautiful you are'.

Overall, I am really impressed with this advent calendar. It looks gorgeous, and all the products are full-sized - the nail polishes says mini, but to me they look a full size bottle - and I like the variety that you get. There are nail products, accessories, eyeshadows, mascara, lip products, bath products and more. For me personally, I think there could have been a couple of other products in place of all the nail polishes and nail products, but they are still lovely items regardless.
