Luxe skincare brand Payot, have released a brand new skincare collection, the Payot Roselift Collagene Skincare, which is a firming range dedicated to women who take a positive and caring approach to the first visible signs of ageing. Roselift Collagene is a slow age firming range that supports women by slowing the effects of skin slackening for a better experience of ageing. Combining a perfect balance of scientific expertise and herbalist heritage, the range is an ideal blend of a collagen booster and a patented active ingredient derived from Damask Rose. The collection features five key skincare products, a Lifting Day Cream, a Resculpting Night Skincream, a Redensifying Booster Serum, a Lifting Eye Cream and some anti-fatigue Lifting Eye Masks.
One of my favourite products from this collection has to be the Payot Roselift Collagene Patch Regard Anti-Fatigue Lifting Express Care (even though the name is ridiculously long). These pairs of under-eye patches come in a box of ten pairs, and each pair is individually packaged, a little like contact lenses. These under-eye patches are ultra-fresh and as soon as I apply them to the area, my skin and eyes feel so much more awake and rejuvenated. They contain collagen peptide to boost the delicate eye area, and give you an instant lifted, smoothed and relaxed look, with a light hydrogel texture that re-plumps the skin and relaxes the eye contour for a radiant effect. The Payot Roselift Collagene Under Eye Patches can be kept in the fridge, which is great if you suffer from very tired eyes in the morning, and they can be used on all skin-types. You apply them straight to the under eye area and sit back and relax for around 15 minutes whilst they work their magic. They retail for £40.00 for ten pairs, working out at £4.00 per pair, which I think is excellent for such a high-quality skincare brand.
We then have the beautiful Payot Roselift Collagene Concentrate Redensifying Booster Serum (£66.00 for 30ml). This luxurious serum boasts a super high concentration of Payot's collagen-boosting peptide, which works to restore plumpness and firms the skin. As soon as you apply it to the skin, it instantly absorbs into it, leaving a silky finish to the skin, and providing the complexion with rejuvenating nutrients. This Booster Serum works deep into skin that has a lack of firmness, radiance and density loss and uses collagen peptide to act as a firmness activator, which a high penetration texture which allows action to take place further down the skin's layers. Suitable for all skin types, this Booster does have a slight fragrance to it, which is dewy, fruity and floral, without being over-powering, and unless you put your nose right up to the serum, it isn't something you would notice. I thought I would point that out as I know a lot of people don't enjoy fragranced skincare. As with the majority of serums, this is to be used on cleansed and toned skin, by taking a small amount and pressing it into the skin and allowing it to settle before applying a moisturiser.
The final product which I have been lucky enough to try is the Payot Roselift Collagene Nuit Sculpting Care (£66.00 for 50ml), and I opted for this Night Cream because during the colder months, I like to be more specific with my moisturisers, and use a daily one for mornings, and then an evening one before bed, as these tend to be richer and more invigorating on the skin. The Payot Roselift Collagene Nuit Cream is a rich, soothing night oil-cream which works overnight to restore density, re-define facial contours and re-sculpt the skin's volume. It comes in a beautiful glass jar, and is a soft pink in colour, again with that floral, fruity scent, which I did find slightly stronger in this than in the serum, but again certainly not offensive. I adore this Night Cream, as it does have that slightly thicker consistency to it, but also melts into the skin effortlessly, and once you wake up in a morning, you can feel how soft and nourished your skin is. Again, suitable for all skin types, and even though this is a pricier skincare product, a little goes a long way, and the results you get are definitely worth it, as the collagen booster really helps to plump up the skin.
