Trying Wander Beauty For The First Time!

Wednesday 18 December 2019

This year I tried out some American beauty boxes, and in different ones I received three Wander Beauty products, which is a brand I haven't tried before, even though it is available at Net-A-Porter here in the UK. I have recently been trying out my little selection and of course wanted to share my thoughts on them in my little corner of the internet.
First up, is the Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Masks (£20.00 for six pairs), which are little gold under-eye masks that consist of three layers - a gold foil which prevents evaporation, elastic to keep it firmly in place throughout the treatment and a cellulose fibre to ensure full absorption of the serum into the skin. The formula contains Jojoba Seed Oil and Lavender Oil to soothe the delicate eye area and visibly reduce any redness, as well as Hyaluronic Acid and Shea Butter to deeply hydrate the skin, helping to blur the look of fine lines and wrinkles. I have used a few pairs of these now, as I am taking two pairs on holiday with me so that I can wear them on the plane to help hydrate my under eye area as I find the air on planes really dries my eyes and skin out. I find these super refreshing and they are a really enjoyable treat as well as treatment for the eyes. They are sold in a box of six pairs for £20.00, so each pair works out at £3.33, which really is not bad at all considering they are a high end brand.
We then have the Wander Beauty Catch The Light Highlighter & Glowtion (£32.00 for 30ml plus 2.5g), which is two products in one handy tube. Firstly, the liquid illuminator can be worn alone to blur out any imperfections, as a primer underneath makeup or even applied as a liquid highlighter to the high points of the face. The formula is infused with micro-fine pearl pigments to give a subtle sheen to the skin to keep it looking glowy and healthy. On the end of the lid is a creamy highlighter that is super easy to apply straight onto the skin as a highlighter or even onto the eyelids as a cream eyeshadow. Both formulas are blended with Aloe Vera Leaf Extract and Safflower Seed Oil to soothe irritation, as well as Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E to nourish the skin for a smooth finish. There is only one shade available which is called Celestial and is a flattering champagne shimmer and is really very pretty on the skin. I love how effortless both of these products are and it is super handy to have a two-in-one, especially for travelling.
The final product I have been trying out and loving is the Wander Beauty Glow Getter Mist (£26.00 for 60ml). This is a multi-tasking mist that is formulated with a blend of non-comedogenic oils and hydrating ingredients to keep the skin fresh. It has so many wonderful ingredients, such as Icelandic glacier water which has been filtered through layers of volcanic rock for maximum purity which contains a unique blend of minerals that calm and soothe the skin, so if like me you suffer from redness, this will help to calm that down. The Glow Getter Mist also contains a wealth of oils including Avocado, Evening Primrose, Lavender and Safflower Seed which really hydrate and nourish the skin to leave it feeling baby soft and looking glowy and gorgeous. You can use the mist as a toner, a priming spray or a setting spray and it has a really fine mist so you don't get splotches of product all over your makeup.
You can find Wander Beauty online at Net-A-Porter here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
