Trying Five Lip Products - Mulac, Diego Dalla Palma, Too Faced, Pat McGrath & IT Cosmetics

Thursday, 27 February 2020

Today's post is all about five lip products, and I haven't tried any of them before, although I have tried some of the brands previously. I have been trying lip products from Mulac, Diego Dalla Palma, Too Faced, Pat McGrath and IT Cosmetics.
Firstly, we have the Mulac Matte Lipstick in the shade Sex Trainer* (13.90 Euros). Mulac is an Italian brand which is new to myself, and they make some amazing cosmetics. Sex Trainer comes in a mauve matte packaging and the shade itself is a mauve pink nude, perfect for most occasions. Even though this is a matte lipstick, it isn't drying on the lips and the formula is quite creamy and moisturising. I am definitely excited to try out more from this brand as Italians do make things exceptionally well. You can find it online at Mulac here.
Still sticking with the matte theme, but liquid this time, we have the Diego Dalla Palma Geisha Matt Liquid Lipstick* in the shade 01 (£16.00). Shade 01 is a lovely light to mid nude, and is a very pretty shade for all year round. The sponge applicator is slanted and so it makes application a doddle and the formula is velvety soft whilst also giving you that matte finish. I found the formula to be very pigmented and just one swipe provides a full coverage. You can find the Geisha Matt Liquid Lipsticks instore and online at Marks & Spencer here.
I adore anything watermelon-scented and so I loved trying out the Too Faced Juicy Fruits Watermelon Candy Finish Lip Gloss* (£16.00). There are three shades available and I have Bump & Rind, which is a beautiful coral shade full of iridescent micro glitter, so you get a lovely juicy, plump look to the lips. The packaging is super cute, with the watermelon-style lid and a soft slanted sponge applicator. Oh, and of course in true Too Faced style, it smells of watermelon too. This is the perfect Spring and Summer shade. You can find Too Faced online at Debenhams here.
Back on to lipsticks and I chose the Pat McGrath LuxeTrance Lipstick in the shade Valletta (£37.00). There is no getting away from the fact that this is one pricey lipstick, but I have just been so in love with everything I have tried so far from Pat McGrath that I really wanted to try out one of the lipsticks. Valetta is a natural nude peach shade and is therefore very wearable as it goes great with my light skintone. The formula is super creamy and luxurious and the colour payoff is first class, with the lipstick lasting much longer than a lot of other lipsticks. The packaging is lovely too, it comes in a cool outer carton and then you get a black and gold tube. You can find it online at Pat McGrath here.
Ending with one of my favourite cosmetics brands, we have the IT Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush Stain* (£18.00) in the shade Je Ne Sais Quoi. There are six beautiful shades to choose from but I loved Je Ne Sais Quoi as it is a very natural soft pink and so will work for all occasions. It comes with a moulded sponge applicator and the formula is infused with nine butters and oils, along with Collagen, Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid, so this is a wonder for the lips, providing them with all the nourishment and goodness they need. You can find the Lip Flush online at IT Cosmetics here.
All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
