Latest In Beauty x The CEW 2020 Beauty Awards Box

Tuesday 10 March 2020

My favourite beauty box is back with another amazing collaboration, this time the Latest In Beauty x The CEW 2020 Beauty Awards box and with this one you get to choose your own products from a wide selection of high-end, on-trend items. You get to choose six products, with the majority being full sized for just £24.00.
I ordered myself a box, but I also was very kindly gifted a box from Latest In Beauty, so I have included a few products from each to give a better variety. First up, I chose the Sunday Rain Rest Easy Watermelon Foot Soak (RRP £5 Full Size), as I adore anything watermelon-scented and you get a whopping 400g, so this is definitely full-sized. I love any kind of relaxing bath products and my feet are well in need of some pampering and this smells amazing. I have seen a lot of Sunday Rain products around and I always think they look lovely, so I definitely wanted to include this item in my box so that I could try it out.
I then chose the Iconic London Prep Set Glow (RRP £22.00 Full Size), which is a product I have already tried before and loved, so I was super excited to see this in the product options. It is a multi-tasking mist which not only sets makeup, but also refreshes skin and moisturises. The formula contains light-reflecting particles that leave the skin with a beautiful, healthy glow and key ingredients include calming extracts of cucumber and chamomile as well as antioxidant-rich green tea and Vitamin E, so not only will your makeup look great, but your skin will look and feel much healthier too.
Eylure are one of my top false lash brands and so I had to include the Eylure Pro Magnetic Eyeliner & Lash System (RRP £20.00 Full Size). These lashes come with a special magnetic lash eyeliner, which you apply, leave to dry, apply and leave to dry twice more, and then the magnetic strip lashes will be attracted to the liner and stay in place. So there is no glue or messiness required, and it is quick and easy, so if you aren't the best at applying false eyelashes, these are going to be much easier for you. I got the style Faux Mink Wispy, which are a really pretty lash style which is going to add volume and length to the lashes without being too bold.
The only item I chose which isn't full-sized, but which is still a generous 100ml is the Molton Brown Suede Orris Bath & Shower Gel (RRP £22.00 for 300ml). I find Molton Brown products very luxurious and I adore scents which are quite woody and musky, so I knew this would be right up my street. Suede Orris contains top notes of mandarin, olibanum and elemi, with heart notes of Tuscan orris, rose and jasmine absolutes, and base notes of cedarwood, labdanum and patchouli. It is quite a warm, slightly masculine scent, but I just adore it and I was impressed with the size to say it is a travel size.
With the Latest in Beauty boxes, I love having the chance to try brands I don't often come across, and so I chose the Code 8 Express Hydrating Lip Colour (£26.00) in the shade Carmen. It comes in a luxe matte gold tube and the shade Carmen is a slightly pink-toned red. Code 8 do say that you can use this as a cheek or lip tint as it combines both hydrating and repairing properties so it does come out slightly sheer on the skin. This is a very hydrating formula and very comfortable to wear, leaving me with positive thoughts on the brand, so I will definitely check out more from them.
Finally, I have always wanted to try out a freckle tint, as I think freckles look super cute, but it just isn't something that is a priority in my makeup to-buy list. So, when I saw the Lottie Freckle Tint (£6.95 Full Size) was one of the options in this box, I decided to add it and give it a whirl. It comes in a little pink tube and has a fine brush tip so it is easy to create small freckles on the skin. All you do is dot onto the places you want the freckles to be and then you can go ahead and set with a powder for a more natural finish.
As I mentioned, the Latest In Beauty x The CEW 2020 Beauty Awards Box costs just £24.00 and if I was to buy all of this individually, it would have cost me over £87.00! Amazing value as always from the Queen of the Beauty Box world. You can find it online here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
